Great ranking! I line up pretty closely but I'd definitely fix First Blood and Over The Top into S TIER! P.s. Glad you put tango & cash into S because it is definitely in my top 3 Stallone movies.

Cause S Tier I put for my 'all time favorites ever'...and I prefer Rambo 2 and 3 and those kind of action films over First Blood. But First Blood is near the top of A Tier for me and I still love it.

I agree with most of it. The only thing I would personally change is Rambo IV from S tier to A tier. The reason is because of all the CGI and because Stallone was aging by then so he couldnt do all the psychical combat of the previous movies and was more limited. I might move Copland to A tier as well but I havent seen it so long. Rocky Balboa I might move down a tier as well because I thought the "villain" was very weak and the weakest in the series and it wasnt believable a 60 year Rocky could go the distance with him even with his broken hand.

Or My Mom Will Shoot" I don't hate the film either but I do feel those are way better comedies then that film. 43:54 That is a very underrated Stallone flick dough it needed a way better director like Renny Harlin or even maybe John Carpenter? 48:20 That's a sequel I hold dear to my heart since that was the very first film I ever seen of Stallone's at a very young age plus I put it above the first film because I felt the end fight between Rocky Vs Apollo was miles better IMHO. 54:14 Fucking A!

I love a lot of Stallone films like Over the top, Rambo 4, Rocky 2 and 3, daylight, tango and cash and many more. However my favorite Stallone film has to be Copland without a doubt

Rocky and Rambo is without a doubt Sly’s top flicks in his filmography. Some gems he’s dropped like Over The Top & Cobra is very enjoyable entertainment😎🍿I always liked The expendables too.

Cobra is my childhood favorite Sly movie. Amazing opening, in my opinion Sly at his peak, short simple, to the point and one of the quintesential action movies of the 80's. The poster itself sells the movie for me. If they used this poster for a Terminator flick, I wouldn't complain. I just love the out of the line complexity of Cobra's character. He's not a paper thin action movie protagonist. People laughed at his scissor cutting cold pizza scene and him watching a Christmas cartoon, but that just adds more character to Cobra and adds more interpretation of how fucked up Cobra might be. He's supposed to be a supercop and they usually struggle with PTSD shit from the past. Rambo 3 is the most underrated Rambo movie to me and probably my favorite. They say the movie's boring. How the fuck can someone find something like Rambo shooting down a Hind D helicopter with an explosive arrow boring? It's the most Rambo thing ever. Judge Dredd is also pretty underrated. Not the definitive adaptation of Judge Dredd, but it is a pretty damn watchable Sly movie, one of the best movie soundtracks I've ever heard and Dredd's character introduction is amazing in all epic scale. Him going ''I AM...THE LAW! YOU ARE ALL...UNDER...ARREST! DROP...YOUR WEAPONS! THIS IS YOUR...FINAL...WARNING!'' gives me goosepumps. Unfortunately, Sly has a few number of duds as well. Driven to me is a piece of shit because Sly doesn't have to do much in a movie other than being a supportive character for the main character. Avenging Angelo is also pretty terrible and one of the low points of Sly's career. Get Carter also didn't do much for me. I don't think it's bad, it's just that I barely remember it. Maybe after rewatching it might change it because it was a long while I've last seen it. Creed as a series also doesn't do anything to me and it's goddamn overrated. A shameful soft reboot of an already amazing Rocky series. Rocky 5 might have been my least favorite of the series, but at least it has some heart to it compared to the recent stuff and the final street brawl is one of the movie's high point.

Escape Plan isn't suppose to be a " action " film, we have already seen that a hundred times. Its suppose to be a little bit smarter movie about Escape prison with your brain this time, instead of shooting 100 prison guards with a mini gun, this isn't the 80s anymore

there's so many on that list that I haven't seen; so I'll rate the one's I've seen... S - Rocky IV (theatrical version) S - Over the Top S - Rhinestone S - Tango and Cash B - Stop or My Mom Will Shoot D - Rocky V believe it or not, I've not ever seen anything else (yet). I've tried to watch Rocky II and Rocky III, but not even halfway through of either, I was literally bored out of my mind.

Rocky V was tolerable... barely, but tolerable, and I don't necessarily hate Rocky II and III, I mean, wasn't anything to hate really, just boring. but, Rocky IV, man that was epic!! maybe because I saw Rocky IV first before II and III, and was let down by the lack of energy in both... but, I tell ya... what's on my S ranking, I've seen so many, many, many times, all 4 movies are so immensely enjoyable

Expendables to me is a waste of potential as an overall concept. They're not bad movies, but they always felt like a run of the mill action movies. Amazing on paper with all the action movie stars and icons collaborating together, but I'd like if they did something more with it. I dig the chemistry with the characters, I dig Barney as a veteran leader of a mercenary group, but it needed more oomph to it. Maybe if they weren't marketed as PG-13, they could have gone all out.

There's terrible CGI blood in those movies as well. They wanted them to be a throwback to the 80s action movies. Well if so then use practical blood and make everything as practical as possible.

I….honestly have to agree with this. I don’t mind the first expendables but at best it’s a 3/5 film it’s fun but very flawed.

I agree. Part 1 I like but honestly am a bit disappointed with. The action finale is great in it but one of the issues I have with it is with Stallone & Statham being on screen together for like 40 minutes straight of the movie by themselves & the rest aren't even in it yet it's called The Expendables. Also, I didn't like how Jet Li was used in the 1st film where he was just the brunt of the joke. The 2nd one is my favorite but I know it has a lot of flaws as well. The 2nd half gets way too comedy oriented instead of where it should have been the opposite. The first 45 minutes should have been more lighthearted before Billy the Kid dies but the script goes the complete opposite direction where after he dies the movie becomes more of an action/comedy. Just weird script writing. The Sly vs. JC fight sucked too. And Part 3 was just an abysmal movie outside of the scenes with Snipes, Mel or Ford. I think Sly was too egotistical when making these movies. He made sure no one got any more shine than him when he wrote the scripts. He's the one that either kills all the main villains or fights them himself. He also gets the most screen time while the rest of the actors outside of Statham were left with shit to do especially in part 3.
