Thanks for the great video. I just took my Rambox apart and your video took me right to the problem. I went to my dealer and they will have my part in 2 business days. Price was $7.99Cdn for the part.

Showed my dealership your paperwork. They used my VIN confirmed same clip (white) but charged me 9.08. They said different dealerships charge different prices. It’s a shame someone hasn’t 3D printed these things. Also it’s not a “star key” it’s a torx and there are different sizes. For this application you need a torx T25 may want to update description

Extremely help video, Jo’s job! If the dealer doesn’t have the retainer clip in stock, you can use O’Reillys door lock rod clip #75455 it’s not as beefy as the OEM but it will get you out of a pinch.

Check to make sure you have either the white clips or the green. I have a 2018 tradesman with green. The part # from mopar is 04658675. Theres 6 to a bag about $40..

2017 PW I have broken 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other . 1 broke when I used the key to open instead of the remote . Next time I will make a keeper out of a tuna can .

A Phillips won’t work FYI if you have 1500. For the 1500 white clip you need a torxT25……
