Dave Gallaher born in Ramelton, emigrated to New Zealand as a young boy, played and was captain for the Original All-Blacks. The All -Blacks team actually visited Ramelton a few years ago to honour his birthplace. Great videos by the way, enjoyed your Donegal trip. I'm just down the road from the Silver Tassie

Nothing better on a Sunday evening than to sit with a cup of tea and watch your videos Dom. I'm considered British but also partly Irish from Leinster but completely sympathise with the Irish who were treated as third class in the eyes of the English establishment if anybody asks me where I'm from I say the Isles or if I have to write nationality I put European as it covers all bases 😂

@@donstravelsandrants. The town definitely needed some paint, it was a bit grey. I finished my channel as soon as I started it, so I know what you mean but I am getting back to it in the New Year. Now, you are not quitting!! 🙄 What are we all supposed to watch on Sunday? 🤔 That is just the winter blues caused by grey skies and lack of vitamin D, it too shall pass! 🤭🤪🤣 None of that silliness and keep filming and Ranting 👍🏻🤓🤪🤭🤣🫖☺️

Ten Donegal videos and they were all equally gorgeous! Ramelton…another quaint town by a picturesque river with an old stone arched bridge, old stone buildings, and a statue of a Nobel prize winner. Who could ask for more?☘️👍The instrumental music on the road to Ramelton was a perfect fit for the scenery. We would all miss you but you sound a little burned out so why not take a little time off during the winter months to get a little R&R. Other KZbinrs only post about every month and you have been faithfully posting every week. I’m saying this reluctantly as I look forward to your videos every Sunday, but I’d much rather a temporary break than quitting all together.😔 Anyway, Here’s wishing you an abundance of health in 2025 and lots more rants.👍☘️🙏💚
