Mcfarlane's offerings so far are decent for what they are. But the vehicles are pretty much 3 part shells with wheels. Nothing is happening with the interior. What you see on the outside is what you get. For some people that's all they need. For others they need more. Some of the folks saying "Just remove all these features", well you'll just get an expensive shell with the build quality to match. Though you see something like the Stinger/Vamp and wonder, why couldn't the EOV have been a Fan Channel exclusive? I do assume Dodge and Disney licensing fees probably play a role.

@@heavy5013 what makes you think the Haslab would have had immaculate QC? Remember the Sentinel issues? And the early bird price on RR was quite a bit less. You did have to pay extra for the flame effects, but you also have bumper and hood options. I do think there is a decent chance Hasbro's would have ultimately been better, but not by that much, and the cost and number of backers they were asking for was just ridiculous. Ramen got this released for a much lower cost, with lower overall sales. Not bad for a tiny independent company.

Hasbro should release the Engine of Vengeance with Ghost Rider and Robbie Reyes in the same program as Dragon Man, or remove some features and release it normally like G.I. Joe Classified does for their vehicles. Robbie's design can be kept the same but Ghost Rider should have new accurately sculpted arms and legs.

Not really. Comes with less and has multiple areas that are likely to fail due to being thin transparent plastic. Engine of Vengeance was better. But people need to feel justified in crying about it's cost. Even if the option they praise isn't far behind.

Shave down the switch on the engine flames part a bit, and it'll sit flush. The switch is too long, which is why it doesn't sit flat.

Mine had QC issue too, tailpipe not glued on, wpier blade off , rear light cover hard to get on magnets not glued on not flushed in it housing. You paid how much? I did early bird $250 with s/h.

Everything the Engine of Vengeance would have come with would have balanced out It's cost, considering the multiple figures, which would have been over $100 in value on their own.

EOV suffered from weak base offering with unfocused tiers that didn't enhance the base. It would have been great as a wave but It made all the wrong movies that helped Hasbro course correct. Gi Joe Classified Dragonfly I think is closer to the optimal way to do Haslabs. Good base with tiers that enhance it. Rattler has one bad tier but surrounded by a lot of good. I think in the end, you do a Marvel Haslab, you don't think real world car even if it has a slight supernatural flair. The EOV came after the HISS and Galactus. Wrong vehicle for the brand even if it could have been a sweet card. Looking at this thing, I wish Hasbro would make the electronics something that can be powered by a USB charger so it could either stay on(though that will kill the LED's faster) or use in a pinch. I think there are some interesting aspects from the Haslab that I'd love see incorporated in others figures(or a new Ghostrider) like powering LED's in the head or body. Numerous Iron Man figs and not one lights up. I think this could have been viable through the fan channels and I hope Ramen continues to improve. Maybe get some Power Ranger stuff going cause Hasbro certainly doesn't care.

The Hell Ranger by Thunder Toys rounds out the Riders with Horse. But fortunately, Ramen did produce the Ramen Racer which they didn’t have to. Hasbro would have left that project in limbo, probably never producing it ever. Only to end up in their infamous toy gallery of things never produced. Another company made the Hell Charger recently. I can’t remember the toy companies name. It was posted on KZbin sometime in June/July. It Would have been cheaper, if it was made by the Toddfather.

That vehicle is The Bandito from 1:12th street chop shop. Not the Hell Charger, but can be used for Blade, The Punisher, or other characters as just a vehicle.

Yep the blower on top of the engine will not stay on it mops Walmart and then you got the belt pulling it down so it just flopped mop mop they need to re-issue this for everyone that bought it. Bad design. But this thing is super freaking amazing $700 all day. Yes, give me more. Should I order that on the pre-order but oh well ain’t gonna miss this opportunity. It’s just gonna go higher and higher flames on fire. Somebody will probably come up with a easy fix to secure the blower on top of the engine better

The tiered figures are never a guarantee even tho they are added in the cost. Look at the giant man Skrull head and the cantina alien which was not unlocked. The price never went down when the campaign ended.

Cause a lot of people misunderstand how it's factored together. At a certain scale of manufacturing, the price for materials and factory space goes down to try and incentivize bigger production runs. At that same scale, adding in a figure brings the cost back up to what it would have been at a previous threshold. You're not losing money because it costs the same to get the materials and factory space, it's just that at higher production runs (after those tiers), the price would have dropped and allowed Hasbro to save some money, and rather than trying to work out how to split the money saved between consumers and lower the price accordingly, Hasbro decided it's better to throw in bonus things as a "thank you" and keep the overall cost the same

@@cdeuceriley4044 it's always planned n hoped to have all the figs... But had that been the case at least based on what shartimus said of how much he payed for all... We'd be a little over but not by much of how much he payed for this. Plus u would have gotten at least 1-2 figs still. (Which this doesnt include the value). And even if some parts still look neater than the haslab one. I always prefer to go with the official product if cost is the same or even a little bit more. Not only cuz it's made by a company that does it for a living so things will function way better but you get the perks of their support if things do break or something. Ex I have the haslab proton pack and it's been awesome. And due to a move I had to do a whole year after I got it I lost an antenna piece since it's meant to be removed... They were still nice enough to send me a replacement antenna free of change. And that piece was metal. And from what I heard of the tanks n stuff from the GI series those are pretty good so I wouldn't be as concern quality wise. If u saw the video shart mentioned he broke his several times n different areas.

Glad I passed. I was tempted to get that Haslab though. It's just that it was a bad time of the year. Hurricane season. I didn't have power for like two weeks and didn't have internet for longer lol. Had other things to spend the little extra money I had on due to not being able to work. Same thing happened for the Sentinel. I'm really mad about missing out on that one. So mad that I passed on Galactus and part of why I passed on the Engine of Vengeance as a result. If I can't get that Sentinel now then I don't really want any other Marvel Haslabs. These Haslabs are stupid annoying sometimes. At least they moved the Transformers Haslab to a better time of the year. Got two Omega Prime sets as a result instead of just getting one set if it were the same time of year as Deathsaurus and Victory Saber. But yeah, people kept going on and on about how this Ramen Toys set was such a better deal. I never seen it that way. If the Haslab had reached full tiers and kept the early bird figure then it would've been four standard figures and a deluxe figure. Five figures total regardless. Then since it didn't reach the early bird funding they took the one figure away and boiled it down to just an alternate head. So the final would've been four figures total with the car that would've been better quality. The Haslab ended up being a great deal compared to this. Oh and let's not forget that this Ramen Toys set doesn't have to do with any licencing issues either. Hasbro has to pay for the Marvel licence at the very least but maybe also the Dodge licence as well. Both of which raise the price up more than you'd think. I point this out as I seen people compare the Engine of Vengeance to the GI Joe Haslab vehicles. You know, the ones Hasbro doesn't have to pay any licencing fees to anyone on. So of course the prices are going to be lower as there's no Disney tax.

Its cool but i got a 1/18 scale one for $50 . This one seems to have been hyped up way more than it really is with the qc issues .
