I’ve always wanted to work on a metalcore song, so it was an absolute blast for this to be my first introductory piece in the genre!

I went into animating this video right as Arknights’ Lone Trail event came and went so big space was very on my mind. I think it was very fitting to end this journey with a grandiose trip into the singularity (or lack thereof? There’s been new theories going around that they might not even exist!)
I’ve learned and leveled up my animations throughout the past several months of participating in this CB and you can see the improvement from R1 to now. This is our biggest, most ambitious entry yet, the culmination of AntiWave’s efforts.
Round 1 saw AntiWave’s defiant and explosive debut in Solar Flare. We saw in Eclipse how they stayed shining when the sun’s light was usurped by the Moon’s bold, darker tone in Round 2. In this Round 3, we’ll see what happens when our celestial bodies must face the cosmic beast that no star’s light could hope to escape. What does one do when they’re trapped, hurtling into the Event Horizon?
