Yo actually though. Like he's the merchant, and while it's true the customer really isn't ALWAYS right, you have to give them the benefit most of the time. Especially working in commissions and sales - just making the customer feel right and swallowing your pride can result in more sales without giving up anything. Like telling the customer you feel disrespected by them talking to another employee to see if they can get more $, that's crazy. You there to get in your feeling's or make money??

@@daddyfuse50 if you are just a regular 9-5 worker then yeah you are going to bend over for patients to just straight up ram you so you can avoid the headaches and complaints but if you are in management or ownership, you never just let customers get "whatever they want." it takes one bad precedent for the flood gates to open up and pretty soon you are dealing with more headache.

The only bad customer in my opinion was the first guy. the 2nd guy seemed like and honest guy. Maybe even a loyal costumer who got lowballed really hard. 3rd guy immedietly apoligized right away. No reason to try to lecture him 2 times right after. the 20 dollars extra is whatever, he just missheared you about store credit.
