I'm female, so if I'm speaking to a male and I reply "I'm good." Do I say "Zaina?" Because I'm a female, or "Zain" because I'm speaking to a male?

Dialects are for the ignorant and thugs only, while the standard language is for the elite, even English has a standard language and it also has dialects called "Slang", the only difference is that the English people are wise while the Arabs are ignorant, the Arabic dialects are used by ignorant people who spend most of their time in Streets to cause harm to others, their dialects are like their mannerisms, they are rude, vulgar, and impudent, with many vulgar words and sexual overtones, so the ignorant common people love these dialects, and they hate Standard Arabic because the standard language is concerned with culture, books, and technology, so I will ask this question: What is the use of communication With ignorant people who love to hurt you?! If this is the case, then mixing with them is reprehensible, and it is better to stay with books (and as I said earlier, Standard Arabic represents books and culture). On the other hand, you benefit from Standard Arabic and its alphabet, being the easiest in the world. I am from the Arab East and I can understand Arabic dialects (I do not like Arabic dialects, I love Standard Arabic, but just to clarify the matter) I can understand even the Algerian and Moroccan dialects, and in the end it must be said that this is not just an opinion, but a reality.
@bmcdermott Жыл бұрын
It depends why you want to learn Arabic. If I was learning just to learn a language or to read books then I would learn MSA (or at least Egyptian dialect which is easier!) but I am learning in order to communicate with my family in their first language and they speak with the Iraqi dialect. I would assume that for more people choosing to learn the Iraqi dialect, it's because they know people who speak that dialect already. The whole purpose of language is to communicate. What a shame to learn a language without the intention of communicating with its native people...
@Qeswara Жыл бұрын
There is nothing easier than the Standard Arabic Language, and whoever tells you otherwise is lying and deceiving you!!! Would you like someone to fool you?!! The first language is Standard Arabic only!!! As an Iraqi, I assure you that the Iraqi dialects is extremely dirty and obscene!! Basically, they do not rise to the level of a " dialects "! Rather, it is an " accents " of Standard Arabic! The Iraqi “ dialects ” are eloquent, but they turn the beautiful meanings of the Arabic language into sexual connotations, and they also use words incorrectly. These Rude / Vulgar “ dialects ” are a distortion of the Arabic language!! Those obscene " dialects " are visual and audio pollution. They hurt the eyes with their ugly appearance and spelling mistakes, and they hurt the ears with their discordant sounds!! So it would be better to use the original and leave the distortion, isn't it?!! No respectable, highly educated, and moral person likes those obscene " dialects ". Be confident!! Language is not only used for communication!!! ( You can use standard Arabic to communicate ) There are more important things than communication! As an Iraqi, I can tell you: " Most " of the Iraqis are unemployed, illiterate, They love causing harm to others ( they even consider it their pride! Can you imagine that?! ) and have poor morals, and these Rude " dialects " represent them because they resemble them and are as bad as them! Do you like communicating with people who like to hurt you, or do you prefer to stay away and choose culture, science, and technology instead?! It is your choice and you are free to make your choice, but do not distort the image of the Arabic language and let others know the truth! Notes: 1- The above description does not apply to Iraqi “ dialects ” only, but also includes all Arabic “ dialects ”. 2- Only the ignorant, the illiterate, and the uncultured and immoral people use these Vulgar / Rude " dialects ".
