I did exectly what he was doing in drop c and it sounded completely different but when i switched to drop d it sounded more accurate

hey, great playing and great cover! but did you use alt picking or only downstrokes in the fast high E string part? not sure how to pick it correctly personally, having a bit of a trouble with it

I use alternate picking for that part. First, try to alternate pick just the open E on the correct speed until you get comfortable. Then try to introduce the fretted notes bit by bit.

Rammstein use a mixture of tunings, dude is using Drop C, think when I seen them live it was in Drop ‘D’ Standard, of cause you’ll have to factor what distortion is being used…
