That synth solo part is so special. I still remember hearing it for the first time while waiting in a pizza place, around the time the song came out. It cut through all the noise and woke me up from my day dreaming.

Apparently the suits make them so hot. They kept the scene cold, but in the "making of" video, Till has steam coming off of him 😅 Flake is in a power chair because he's so lazy and has no drive that he doesn't even want to walk anymore

The literal English for Keine Lust is “no desire” but it really means “I don’t want to.” Till basically is listing things he wants to do but doesn’t have the desire to actually go do them 🤣 Also, that awesome synth in the breakdown is played an octave lower live and it’s better 🤤

Your 1st word.., "jazzy"... drummer Christophe Schneider plays a custom DW Jazz Series kit w mixed cymbols... to my ear, it gives Rammstein a special sound. Funny, I met Christophe b4 I knew he was in a band...he was paired w me (I worked at University of California) in an email program to help ppl practice their English. Just so happened, I worked their 1st US tour...and I'm like...that guy looks kinda familiar.. we had a good laugh about it! So proud of all his successes! And he's a beast on the kit!

"Lust" here is used in a double entendre. Of course it can mean "lust", as in English, but when somebody says "ich hab' keine Lust" it means they don't feel like doing something, e.g. "let's take a walk" - "ich hab' keine Lust" (I don't feel like it).

not really worth a seperate reaction video, but they got an Echo for Keine Lust's music video in 2005 (and for the album Reise, Reise as well) and their speeches for those are very Rammstein-esque respectively. for the award stage show, they also wore those fat suits, which probably was torturous with all those lights.
