The song is about "Armin Meiwes" a guy how searched for another guy on the internet to be slaughtered and eaten. They together ate "his Teil" before the other guy died. I recommend the 2013 live version :)

Great reaction! For Rammstein it really pays off watching the more recent life videos, since they continued fine tuning and improving their shows and performances on different songs a lot over the years, plus the audio and video quality is also better in most cases.

This is a very old version of the performance. It evolved signifantly since then. You reall should watch the live shows from 2019 upwards. The old ones were cool but the stage for the 2019 tour (which they keep using till now) and all the pyro upgrades for the last tour are mindblowing. So if you thought this 1 tiny flamethrower was crazy, you'll be shocked to see what they do in this song nowadays lol.

The lyrics deal with the criminal case of Armin Meiwes, the so-called “Cannibal of Rotenburg”. Armin Meiwes, who killed and partially ate a person in 2001.

Yeah, beginning lyrics say something along the lines of "Today I'm gonna meet a guy, he likes to eat me" Hard to translate German correctly and making it make sense with all the ideoms and sayings we got.
