Bro respect. In a short time you have gone deep down in the Rammstein rabbit hole. I have been in and out of it for 30 years. Now. It will never end. Allways new things to discover.

Rammstein Lyrics are from a different World. I always tried to get family or friends to listen to Rammstein, but they have so many Prejudices because of the Media. They never gave them a Chance and tried to "really" listen to the Songs.

Till is the master. He writes all the lyrics for Rammstein and gave away his rights early on so that all band members earn the same amount.

I think over analysing the lyrics is a large part of the fun. Till's poems are also fascinating. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrible, sometimes shocking, sometimes comforting. Often very funny. A few of them get adapted into lyrics.

Probably the best song on this album, so oppressive, depressing when a child seeks love for his own mother and she doesn't return it. So sad but so much truth behind it.............😢😥😭

The thing with Rammstein is that they're so very German, and that many people their age, born in the mid to late 1960s, had very similar experiences with the way children were raised back then. Their parents must have been born during the 1930s or 1940s and they were very traumatized because of the war, and it sometimes took decades for them to be able to talk about. The result was an emotional numbness, they often weren't able to give their children the affection that they would have needed. There are other reasons that have nothing to do with the war, too, like people had to be tough and show no emotions. It's probably not even an exclusive German issue, other people have been traumatized as well. But as a German, I know exactly what they're talking about. Same for "Mutter".

Expelled from the world can simply mean that the father left the world, the boy's living environment, and never came back because coexistence with this woman was not possible. In this case, the son was already a victim of his mother because she took his father away from him, psychologically deformed him and deprived him of the chance of a normal life perspective. It happens millions of times around the world.

A tyrannical mother who forces her son to do things he doesn't want. This also includes sexual abuse. After all, he is the man in the house and the meat spoils in the blood. Which in principle sounds like incest. She was so tyrannical that she forced her husband out of the world. That means she made him so psychologically exhausted that he killed himself. If he were still alive, she would only have forced him out of the house, but it was the world.

Curiously, the title text of the song, "meine Tränen" (my tears), never features in this song. You only ever hear "deine Tränen" (your tears). This leaves it open to interpretation. But a likely scenario is that during the song it is told from the perspective of the mother or others, while the then picked title of the finished song is an admission of your own tears (that you were conditioned to never show publicly).
@berlindude754 ай бұрын
Please do their song "Schwarz" (Black) next, it is equally eerily emotional.
@B-Drags-Den4 ай бұрын
Maybe because "my tears" are only to be shed at her death. Otherwise, it's not allowed.

How often does emotional and physical abuse happen in families? Again it’s the boys going where most don’t want to 👊🤘
Dont think on this one . Story is clear . Mom is the abusive one . Dad couldent take it no more so he kiled him self .
