As the first song on the first album, its purpose is to introduce the band, the themes of the songs and the style of the music. The repetition of the band name in the chorus can be understood as a (polite) introduction of the band name. "(Allow us to introduce, we are) Rammstein"

Great Song! 👍 There are four Rammstein Songs: 1. Rammstein 2. Wollt ihr das Bett in flammen sehen 3. Rammlied 4. Ramm4 PS: "Waidmanns Heil" from MSG is a great power Song! (you think it's about an Animal Hunt, but that would be too profane for Rammstein, no, it's about a Sex Offender who hunts young Women!)
