it is about their political views ... at one point they were accused of having fascist sympathies and they wanted to say they don't at all ... they are LEFT and very much so. Once, during a show, Till noticed some skinheads bringing the nazi salute. He got very mad, called them "scum" and had them removed bij security. Having grown up in Eastern Germany before the fall of the wall they value the freedom to be yourself in every possible way
