Thank you so much for posting! Vinay was such in intense singer and the most wonderful Otello, I guess. It´s a pity, he sang so intensely he lost his voice too early.

Es uno de los mejores tenores de la historia como dramático. Una voz privilegiada. Un Otello maravilloso. Vinay en tres años cantó el Otello ocho veces en el teatro de las Bellas Artes en México entre 1947 y 1949. Nació en Chile y vivió muchos amos en en estado de Pebla, México donde murió. Mi mas grande admiración para Vinay y gracias a ceb2633 por subirlo. Tenemos esta ópera de Otello con Vinay completa. Saludos

@69Scherzo Thank you for the comment. Vinay originally started as a baritone, later worked up to the tenor range with his darkened and to me, unique and wonderul voice and in later years returned to the baritone range. My sister was fortunate to hear his Iago during his later baritone years...I think his voice lasted quite a while. At least in my heart. C. ps. Not many can claim singing both Otello AND Iago.

Fe de erratas de mi anterior comentario. "años" (en lugar de amos), "Puebla" (en lugar de Pebla). En una página que ya no encuentro llamada "Tenorland" se disponía de varias arias de Vinay entre muchos otros. Si alguien sabe de alguna página donde se puedan bajar arias de tenores, favor comunicarlo, Gracias
