Your worst two were my gateway to the Ramones. I got into them when I went to university in 97 after they retired. I went from newest to oldest when listening to them. I love Loco Live, It's Alive, Adios Amigos, Greatest Hits Live, Ramones, The Last Show (The Doc is really good) and Rocket to Russia. I love their music.

CJ replaced Dee Dee , Richie was the drummer for mid 80s , then marky came back , so that Tshirt has two wrong members on the logo, I guess that makes it more valuable and a Good story getting it from mexico 😂 great collection man

I found the Tom Waits record. It was in the middle of a bunch of records that I set aside to record into the computer.

That Leave Home LP must be first press, carbona not glue was replaced by babisitter, due to carbona being a trademark. Kudos again

When you showed adios amigos that's one of the Ramones albums I've been trying to find you don't buy any chance have a copy of a model Bizarro do you and where do you find them at
@NateB19763 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don't want to open up that can of worms to argue about them. But now I definately have to find that live album that was your top pick. Dang man no one likes Brain Drain...I really dug that album. By the way I always get choked up on the last show live about what Lemmy says before he comes out and does the song with CJ. But you have to have the live DVD or VHS to see that. It was also a bummer to watch DEE DEE forget the words to Love Kills during the same show then try and play it off. So much I could say about the Ramones but not enough room here. Have a good one.

I had no idea the Ramones had that many albums Martin, Wow. I use to have a box set of their music. It was a warm day, I had to run down to Detroit to pick up a vehicle, 88, felt like summer. I do have Rocket To Russia in vinyl.

Rocket to Russia " This is really what made the Ramones what they are, this is the record." I was there from the beginning and believe me, all my friends were in awe of their style and sound on their debut and Leave Home, both before Rocket to Russia. And putting the Phil Spector's wrong headed LP before the two I mentioned is something I would never do. His arrangements work against the band's strengths IMO

I agree but I just love the song High Risk Insurance.

@@TheWinston7777 It has a few good songs but is not nearly as powerful as their first 4 studio albums. Road to Ruin is notable for some slightly longer songs and is quite good, but is essentially more of the same as their first 3 LP's. You might enjoy my memory of first seeing them. " Saw them first at CBGB's in either 75 or 76 (tough to remember exactly) and was blown away by their power. What a rush! Would have loved to talk to them after their set but their leather jackets gave me pause. The only other people who wore leather jackets at that time in the East Village were the Hell's Angels and I had already had an experience with one of them on East 3rd street where their clubhouse was. Not really a big deal, but after that I decided not to start up any conversations with them. So, due to fear, I missed my opportunity to talk to the greatest band in the world in the mid 70's. To this day I play their records, comment on their songs and they remain one of my 10 all time favorite punk bands."

Is the loco live is on camera?

I'd say Leave Home is their best, followed closely by their first one, then Rocket to Russia, then Road to Ruin. It's Alive might technically be their best if you want to count live albums. Then there's everything else, for hardcore fans only, lol.

Everything being subjective I don't agree with all of your evaluations here and that's fine but Today Your Love Tomorrow The World is objectively *not* a pro-Nazi song.

Can never understand why Subterranean Jungle is held in such esteem by many: the production is awful, the songwriting dire, and there is clearly a freakin' drum machine on it! Okay Psycho Therapy is a good song, but it only became something when they played it live with an actual drummer [preferably Richie] powering it. I enjoyed your video though.

They should have re recorded The Jungle record live in Detroit.
