I cant help but wonder if his truck was modified to make that easier. The old stunt drivers from movies that would do this had modified cars that would pop up and be "easier" to keep up like that. Either way I'm impressed. Even with a trick car that's not an easy stunt to pull off.

As a teen I went to stay at my grandmother's who lived a mile from the state fair grounds. I went to the fair with my sister and while there we watched the ' Hurricane Hell Drivers ' stunt driving team driving all over on two wheels. I remember one coming a bit close to the fence I was behind and he had to bail out of the two - wheel and let it slam down hard. Then later on the next day going to a store I saw them driving the same cars on the street. Nick at Night definitely had it going on.

Doesn't take a professional, just a lot of practice and willingness to sacrifice a few vehicles. Take a look at the crazy stuff they do in cars in Saudi Arabia to see what I mean.... 5 dudes in a jeep riding on two wheels, with two guys taking off one of the wheels and replacing it as the driver balances the car. They really should improve the safety. Do they have any rollover protection? We always rip out the windshield and screw in steel mesh for our cars. Also, it looks like a lot of them may have 3 point belts. Really should have 4 minimum, ideally 5 or 6.
@sacr327 күн бұрын
It is y'all that end up killing the sport. People go into this knowing that there are risks, adding more regulation on top of Regulation under the guise of safety means that these individuals have to spend more and spend more to make sure their cars are safe, their $1,000 junkyard cars that barely run. If they don't meet all the standards then they are rejected, thus they end up going to other events. There's a fine balance when it comes to things like this, you just simply have to accept that these individuals are willing to accept the risks and that we just simply have to allow it. Instead of forcing safety on them and potentially killing the sport.
@michaelberna98727 күн бұрын
@sacr3 I'm all for having more people racing. Ripping out the windshield costs nothing. If you spend a bit on a decent belt set, you can move it from one car to the next. Racequip and others have some entry level stuff that isn't crazy expensive. If you don't have a minimum level of safety, a lawsuit against the track will shut it down a lot quicker than having a few less people race who are cutting corners on safety.
