AnthonyJ74 difference is, hes not acting alpha, he just really is. the guy fights trained killers for a living and reached the pinnacle of the sport. he was one of the best fighters ever in his prime and still is a damn good one

It means to meet in the middle. So for example if someone fight at 165, and someone else fights at 205, theyll fight at 185 or 175 to make it fair.

Apparently, several other fights offered to Mitrione were turned down by his prospective opponents. So, I guess he got a little creative & offered to fight a big name fighter who's been also looking for a stand-up fight like Mitrione has been. I get your point, but I get Meat's point as well...
