As someone who has run 7+ half marathons, there is nothing more rewarding than finishing one. I don't know if it's the act of doing something together as a team (probably a similar feeling to those breast cancer walks) or the act of accomplishing something very definitive (you either run it or you don't there is no gray area if that makes any sense). I just love the camaraderie of everyone feeling like a team, volunteers, spectators, and participants alike! Congratulations, the footage Yoni shot of you looked amazing. In the pics I have of me running my half marathons, I look like I'm dying lol.

Don’t look over the past too much and dwell on what you didn’t do, it never helps. It isn’t easy and I was honestly over the training after the two weeks but I told myself “you will disappoint yourself if you don’t push through” it kept me going even if I did miss a few of my runs. It’s all about keeping accountable and pushing 1% everyday (which sometimes looks like taking an extra rest day) 😌

Anyone interested average runner trains 6 months for whole marathon. Professionals obviously train a whole year because they are training to run under a certain amount of time. Congrats allia. I love running. I started with 5ks (3.1 miles) and got hooked.
