Well initially I was surprised to see good ole Dr. Huberman on this thread. But then I realized how many geniuses dig good punk rock. I went to a Descendents show a few months back and half of the crowd had tattoos and a Master's degree or higher. Quite the night.

Damn, they haven't missed a damn beat! Nearly 4 damn decades, and they've still got it in spades. When you think of all the ones who come and go, and then see Rancid as raw and authentic as ever, it really puts into perspective how the exemplify the genre. Seriously, nothing but respect to these guys.

Yea bro, Tim is a worker too man. He's always got a project going... a lot of people done realize that he's wrote songs and produced for pop stars like Pink!...then his Tim Timebomb records are great. Did you hear his new band Bad Optix ??? It's him and Jesse Michaels from Op Ivy on vocals....fuckin sick man. Loved these guys since I was 12...I'm 35 now...had my 6 yr old jamming out to "Tomorrow Never Comes" when it came out...he loves when Matt's "tomarowwwwwwwwww" parts kick on.

I went to Gilman when Tim Yohanon was still alive. I saw incredible shoes and watched that scene grow and morph and new blood add their own distinctive marks on this East Bay thing that was happening. I'm so glad to see that Rancid still carries on with that same energy and spirit that we had at that time. This track is anthemic and I love that I know it's a Rancid track, but you guys never just remake the same albums over and over again. LMFAO --- I've found myself able to see Op Ivy back in the day and I've seen Old Firm Casuals a couple times ( BTW--- Lars thanks for being a really approachable and truly nice guy) ,but somehow I always have plans fall through when I'm gearing up to see Rancid I need to make sure I do.before I take a dirt nap ,cuz you guys have been one of those seminal bands that have helped keep Punk alive and have influenced generations of bidding musicians. Anyway, thank you all for many years of great music and this track is gold.....from the music to the lyrics

Update, bought the record today, and yes, this is by far the best track on the album and well worth the price of admission. Tim always comes thru with an epic tune no matter what and this be it Matey's. My 2nd favorite is It's a Road To Righteousness. Love you Rancid, keep the faith and keep that Clash torch lit as you have been doing since you started, much respect from my heart and soul. Not many things left in this world I can depend on, but Rancid be one of them and they make me proud.
