Hi! Can I ask if which will fit me 52mm or 55mm of Randolph Aviator? I only have one sunglass as of now its a Ray ban wayfarer ease and the size of it says 50-22-140 and it fits me well. I have a round face tho.

Hi my friend, the pouch is made to keep them in a jacket pocket, "in case of" but not for travel. To travel take the case, to wander in the city put the pouch folded in your pocket. This way when you enter a shop for example and you need to see what you buying without shades on your face, you know where to put them. Because letting them hang on the shirt is never a good thing, and some people either break or loose glasses by doing this. Anyway, superb review, and a big hello from Paris bro ! Keep it up.

Dude, maui jim is not even close to randolph engineering. Maui jim uses acetone plastica and cheap polycarbonate lenses. Not mineral crown glass lenses, for clarity and such, mineral crown glass is undefeated. Polycarbonate is cheap and bad. Do some research before you mention something like maui jim... cause that brand sucks

@@MichaelHsu95 sure thing Just got my RE anderson with mystic blue polarized lens...they are amazing..even in low light..they suppressed the noisy light and manage the colours nicely. I ve been wearing sunglasses for a long time and i gotta say this is the best sunglass in my rotation..might not rotate much after this tho😂..the price is quite steep but since here in Malaysia we get hammered by the sun all year long id say its a good investment.Appreciate your awesome review that lead me to randolph sir.

Are those hinges better than Ray-Bans? Ray-Ban aviators have very thin hinges which look so fragile. Great review!

I broke one of the nose pad arm on my 52mm Aviator cause I couldn't adjust it to feel most comfortable on my nose and the level of the frame through my vision. The other pairs are still fine and comfort ( 2 of 55mm, 3 of 52mm) and I love them.

Agree Ayush. Same here...come on by Michael, in vid you put in hard case and leave soft cover hanging out. Simply tuck in the fabric and close hard case. Duh!

Cloth/bag and glasses do fit in the hard case, however not with the sunglasses in the soft case. I fold the soft case in half, and set it in the hard case with the pull ties at the bottom, then lay the sunglasses lens down on the soft case, it closes beautifully :P

I like the Sunglasses, but 6 months after purchasing the 23K gold frames, I found the frames do not hold up to corrosion with the underlying copper "green "rust" popping up all over . I couldnʻt even read the model number on the wings because of the corrosion. I have a call into their Warranty service and am waiting for a call back...

The replacement lacked the engraving I paid for on the original pair, but I let it go not wanting to mail them back and forth again. In the meantime, I discovered ROKA Titanium Aviators, which eliminates the corrosion issue completely.

I was really disappointed with these. I recently bought a pair of the military special edition. Right out of the box, there was a huge crack in the right lens. Sent them back as defective. Would've thought for the price their QC would have been a lot better. Also, that special military case seemed too small. Had to really pull down to snap it. I think the standard hard case would probably be better.

Thanks Michael. Now I totally can see Randolph Aviators are not for me. I am asian too, I can see the glasses are touching your cheek bones. This would not be a huge problem if you quickly commute for 15 Minutes. But on a longer hot day sweat can collect at the bottom rim of the glasses.

i haven't worn AO's newer versions, but have had a pair of their older version which was around 8-9 years ago. Those actually broke on me after a little over a year of use when i had dropped them. My current aviators from Randolph are about 5 years old and have held up pretty well. Was thinking about trying AO again if i need a 2nd pair of aviators.
