Quite a range of movies, from the bottom (Dirty Dingus Magee) to the top (Little Big Man), with many fine films in between. FYI, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but you were showing clips from Rio Bravo (1959) and describing its plot in place of the 1970 Rio Lobo. Both good films by Howard Hawks (though I like Rio Bravo more).

Yes, there was still good weterns made at that time, but it was no longer - "the golden era"! The level was still held by John Wayne - and very good was "Little Big Man".
