03/9/19 me and my husband began a whole food plant based lifestyle. In May of 2019 we began rv full time. He has lost 47 lbs and I have lost 40. We are so much more healthy. We both came off all our diabetic meds, acid reflux meds and one of my hbp meds. We feel great

My husband and I just bought our RV a couple of months ago and last week we bought our truck. It has been a few months of preparing, but we are finally looking forward to hitting the road in January! We are both loving your channel! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the effort you put into helping people. We are very appreciative! I love your channel. Love the family. I've been fighting Ovarian cancer for the last 6 years. We started camping again in 2019 in a Rustic Trail teardrop we put 25,000 miles on in a year and a half. We now have a Casita. Time is the most precious thing that we have, I'm starting treatment again because cancer is in my lymph nodes. Safe travels

@@LoveBugXOXO It *can* break down into top and bottom sections plus lid if you want to do that. My experience has been that people usually secure it (bungee, etc.) &/or set it in the sink. The filtered water is in the bottom so you could just use it up (pour into travel mugs or bottles) and proceed. *However*, depending on how long you leave the top stored, if the filters get dry, you will need to re-chaarge them the same way it is done the first time they are used.

Moving rocks, cutting trees and firewood plus running a full time RV repair business. I don't think I have time to join you guys in your work out apps. If you want a real work out, stop by sometime and you will work out some muscles you never knew you had! :)

Being a proud West Virginian I hope you had a great time enjoying our state. We travel to Pipestem State Park all the time and really enjoy the 15 min drive from the state park to the town of Hinton / Bellepoint to float the New River on the other side of the Bluestone Dam. Also just a few minutes past that you can visit Sandstone Falls. WV is so beautiful but it really comes alive in the fall. Please come back!!

Fall 2004, we were headed from NH west. Full timing for only 6 months. We stayed at a rv park in Lebanon, Tn for a few nights and saw the sights. When we left the 5th wheel was loaded with those beetles. 8 years later, when we went from full to part time, cleaning out the 5th wheel,I found lots of carcasses still hidden in the nooks and crannies of the rv. New River Gorge Bridge Festival, was held every October. People came from all around the world to jump off that bridge. It was really exciting to see. The Northbound lane was blocked to traffic. White water rafting is popular in this area. All those Lady bugs are set loose to kill the mites in the pine trees. I enjoyed coming down Route 19 with you. Traveled it 44 years coming from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Wytheville, Va. & vice versa.

Remembering when we lived in MD outside of DC, had to fumigate yards for Japanese beetles every yr. Health website is terrific idea. We've been housebound for almost 2 yr due to hubby's kidney cancer fight & now covid. Hoping things improve n 2021 & we can get back out on road. In meantime have lived vicariously thru KYD & your YT videos are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Many many thanks for all you share.

I recently interviewed for a remote job that will give me more time for my health and more of a chance to live my dream of traveling. Once I get the job, it will be 2 years and my husband and I will be on the road. ❤❤

I want it! I think right now the healthy thing is really important especially in a lot of places where the gyms are shut down or it's to cold to do our normal outdoor activities. A little problem though - they both passed away within two years of my Father's retirement. In the winter time in the Sierra Nevada mountains, I have seen the lady bugs over a foot thick on rocks or logs. There are people who collect them release into their yards or even sell them.

Ah, Pipestem. What a beautiful park. Stayed there YEARS ago in our pop-up. There was a free Bluegrass concert at the amphitheater one evening and it started to rain. There were only 12 or so attendees, so the band invited everyone up on the covered stage and we all danced and clogged to the tunes. What fun!

If y’all are ever by the bridge again you have to go see Cathedral Falls!! Small parking lot but if you can unhook somewhere safely then you HAVE to go see this attraction!! Definitely look it up!! The drive is one of the prettiest we’ve been on!! We had friends do their wedding photos there and oh my heart!!

It can do a cup (or thermos cup) at a time. It isn’t messy and the used coffee grounds can easily and cleanly be ejected into the garbage. And the coffee??? Fabulous. Alton Brown claims it to be his #1 way to make coffee!

We have stopped many times at New River visitor center because we have family cabin (with 6 rv sites) between Buckhannon and Elkins. There is a great trail on opposite side of the river with stairs that go all the way down to the river. Beautiful country. Planning on going to the 55 challenge. Thanks. I LOVE NEW RIVER GORGE!! You can drive down to Fayette Station, but it would be a no go with a trailer! You should have looked up Long Point Trail. Beautiful little hike through the woods and brings you out to a point that looks out onto the bridge. You could have also done the Bridge walk. There is a platform under the bridge that spans the length. You’re in my neck of the woods 💛💙

My wife's family lives with in 10 minutes of that. New River Gorge. We were down there 3 times this year and in near future we're planning on moving down there. If you get down there in future just a little ways north of that bridge there is a state park campground, called summersville lake. With some sites so close to the water you can liberally walk 3 or 4 feet from your awning and walk into lake. It is beautiful there.

The insect your referring to is a Asian Lady Beetle. Very similar to ladybugs, except they leave an odor. Japanese beetles are bigger and a green color. Love the videos.

Hey guys! Love the channel! I'm a Princeton WV native. Born and raised. I seen your Pipestem video and wanted to let you know, Pipestem is great, but you really missed the WV experience. The next time y'all roll through, go to brush creek falls. You can't pull your rig there, so just the truck. Same as most of the local spots. Brusch creek falls, cascade falls. Hinton dairy queen. And much more. Next time y'all are in WV holler at me. We have a lot of not so known spots that are what WV is about. I'm glad y'all had a decent time though minus the bugs 🤣🤣🤣 summer and fall are by far the best time to visit. Much love to your family. I hope you come back and can experience WV the way it should be. You can literally jump off a waterfall if you want to. And it was 15 min away from Pipestem

I was a white water river guide on the New River. The New River Gorge Bridge is the longest single span, steel arch bridge east of the Mississippi. I worked for Wildwater Expeditions Unlimited which was the first and oldest whitewater outfitters in West By God Virginia and our trips would end just past the bridge. The third week of October, they close the bridge on "Bridge Day" for bungee jumping (at least back when I worked there). Anne Walker

Love the New River area, so beautiful! I though Japanese beetles were black. We stayed at a B and B in VA once and it looked just like what you showed. We thought they were ladybugs, orange with black dots.

Very interested in the KYD55 program. I will check it out! About the bugs...yeah... those Asian beetles are true pests. Brougjt here to 'improve' on mother nature and get tid of potatp grubs or something, if I remember correctly. They can be horrid. Dogs sometimes catch and eat them, which can be bad, because they do cause gastric problems and can be toxic for them, so please watch Charlie. My husband is actually allergic to them, so we keep vacuuming them up! Ugh.

Can’t believe I have been watching KYD from the being and you past right by our camp site at Pipestem State Park. You must go back and spend more time again and they do have full service. There is so much to do around there and you can make the park your home base. So many hiking trails and waterfalls. You missed so much at the New River Gorge Bridge. And you can walk under the bridge by cable. The arch under the bridge could fit 2 Washington monuments and one statue of liberty and still have 20 feet left. And there is the Grandview, it is called the Grand Canyon of the east coast. Hope you get to go back to West Virginia it is a beautiful state. As we say wild and wonderful West Virginia!!! We stayed there for 11 days visiting family and hiking. We are from the Foothills of the Smoky mountains of East TN. Enjoy your travels and be safe. We are looking forward to heading out west in April 2021.

Great video!! A wonderful trail to see a different view of the river & the bridge is Long Point Trail. There is a lower deck overlook that is around 180 steps down & then back up! That would certainly cover a great workout for the day!! Very excited about KYD55; can’t wait to learn more!!

We bought our 2020 FC 27 FBT from Woodland Airstream (Grand Rapids, MI). Great dealership, sales, service, and parts store. We live just under two hours away from them (close to Detroit) but are more than willing to travel a few extra miles to deal with them.

If I may suggest, next time you're passing the New River Gorge Bridge area (WV Rt19 & 60) may I recommend Babcock State Park west on Rt 60, there is so much to see in that area, such as Kanawha, Cathedral, & Sandstone Falls, the mining town of Nuttallburg, &the town of Thurman just to name a few. Also one of the other area of WV we love is in the north, Blackwater Falls SP. In easy driving distance is Seneca Rocks, Canaan Valley, the Cass Railroad and Dolly Sods Wilderness which does have a primitive campground. There is so much history in WV and the wilderness is spectacular

Our park model is in a wooded area. We deal with those asian beetles in the spring and fall. It's maddening! Our park model is only 3 years old but from day 1 we've had those inside. We've caulked every window and they are still finding a way in.

I have great tip to help you with your Andersen blocks! I picked up 2 rubber stair treads and we lay them below the blocks for grip. It prevents slipping and sinking, and they are thin and flexible so they store easily.

We look forward to watching every Sunday😀. The Asian Ladybugs were horrible, we were camping at Camp Creek State Park and drive up to visit Pipestem. We camp WV a couple times a year, great state! Great show 👍
