They are swedish. This song is very famous. It was a big hit. They have other major hits like "My Favorite Game" and "Erase And Rewind". But for me personally their highlight was the album "Long Gone Before Daylight" where their sound is more country flavoured and it is a perfect album from start to end. All songs are hauntingly beautiful and full of darkness.
