Wow, what a compliment it is to have you include my experiment in your video; thank you! I’m so glad you like it and I’m surprised at how shiny it looks on camera. I don’t know if I mentioned that it’s best as a dip pen ink, untested in a fountain pen as of yet.

You are most welcome! I had to share! That swatch was done with a GDP but I do remember you said to use only dip pens with it. Thank you for sharing it with me. It is VERY shiny. To me it looks different that most shimmers I see but maybe because I want to see a difference? 😆

@@wildlyimaginable They do look a bit different. I think it may have something to do with additives, as my Wearingeul Glitter Potions are shimmer suspended in liquid. I’m working on thinning my inked pens so I can try it in one of my inexpensive piston fill pens that I use for inks I don’t trust in my nice ones.

I didn't think I'd be into pinky/magenta/purple shades as much as I am but dang...in inks they're fantastic!

Wow! That modified vert de gris has me wanting to dig into the crafting archives to find some silver mica powder. Also loved the Solfrine! I was lucky enough to receive the Galen pouch as a table gift from Vaness at the Chicago Planner Conference this weekend. I won't say how many times I was petting the pouch and asked others if they want to feel it too.

That Vert de Gris is a real stunner! Like you I'm gonna have to dig thru the art supply boxes I still have left sitting it in the garage. I eyedroppered some of the Solferino into a 2.4mm Parallel Pen and just played with drawing all manner of lines and doodles. I do miss my days of doing mixed media. The leather on that pen pouch...dang! Love, love it! And so cool you were gifted one.

That’s an amazing gift, I love that you’ve started like a family tradition with all of them! With this pen punch I now have my own proof of why there’s such a fascination and interest in Galen Leather products and will be ordering more.

Such an interesting lineup of inks, but for me very light colors and I don't get along at all!! I do have 2 of them - The Lie de The & the Vert de Gris in 10 ml bottles. The Vert de Gris is (Green of Gray) translated to Verdigris which is the color of patina that appears on copper, brass & bronze. Think of the Statue of Liberty. It's nice with the mica, but for me I'd have to tone it down quite a bit.

That's really interesting about the Verdigris. In person the colour I was expecting was some shade of green but it’s ALL blue! ☹️ The mica shimmer is awesome but wanted it to have at least a hint of a green to it, like the Statue of Liberty you mentioned. Vert in French is green so what gives Herbin?!! Mmmmh…🤔

Love all of the ink samples - especially the magic Vanessa does mixing inks and mica. That is the coolest. It was amazing to meet you at the pox pen meetup and I look forward to doing it again in December. You asked what you could bring and if you wouldn't mind bringing your orange pocket pen - I would so love to try it out. I will bring a talisman so you can get a feel for that size Benu. Thanks so much for the amazing videos - love them.
