I have epilepsy I've had it since I was 13 I'm now 46. After a seizure you are not aware of what is going on around you. you feel tired .. But after a good sleep you are back to yourself . What people don't understand is you can die from epilepsy. And People with epilepsy have a high chance of developing alzheimer's disease..

I don't know what it is, but I always feel moved to tears whenever I see videos of Haka. The emotion and energy that is poured into the performance is palpable through the screen.

The one with the guy who grabbed the person's phone, it is common here in Australia to drive with your shoes off as it is more comfortable. The last one was the Haka and is a traditional warrior's dance. It is the most beautiful thing to do when sending off a loved one, and that teacher was one of those one in a million teachers who touched the hearts and minds of all their students.

In the Netherlands you’re not allowed to drive without shoes, even flip-flops are not allowed. You can get a ticket for it, but more importantly: you risk your insurance not paying if you get into an accident, even if it was not your fault. The reason is that they say it is too dangerous.

4:55 I wouldn't call that a random act of kindness, because epilepsy, whatever the voiceover says, is a brain condition and you can sometimes feel the seizures coming or not. But when you have such a seizure, you literally let everything go because that epilepsy seizure relaxes all your muscles. I've had it myself but I've been epilepsy free for quite some time now. 7:02 I don't know where this is, but I've always been taught in traffic lessons that you have to give way to police cars, fire engines and ambulances if they have both signals on (siren and flashing lights) even if they are approaching a zebra crossing.

4:41 I myself suffer from epilepsy which causes severe seizures (sudden convulsions). This was not a random act of kindness. This is family. Both my mother and my sister would act exactly like her in a situation like this. An epileptic seizure is caused by a "short circuit" in the brain that causes the brain to go haywire. Which causes the brain to send electrical signals to the whole body, which leads to sudden convulsions. DO NOT put things in the person's mouth, that could cause injuries. Just place something soft under the head to protect the head from injuries, otherwise the person will get head injuries due to repeated bangs towards the ground. Then call for an ambulance.

Is it necessary to go to the hospital after every seizure? No shade, I just have no idea. We had a dog with epilepsy when I was very, very young. I don't think that poor dog ever went to the vet or had any meds. 😔 ☮️💜

I decided to hold a craft stall to raise money for a non profit community based cafe who provides meals for those in need. A fellow volunteer offered to help with making crafts. I am very great full for the help. I am learning auslan so we can communicate easier.. she is now giving me one on one lessons. She is so patient with me. I think I have found a friend for life.

I’m sorry but the service dog pageant one is so dumb...it’s a service dog in training, not even an actual service dog yet. And for what “disability”? She’s very obviously quite able. What actually happened was a girl took her pet to a pageant and won because of that. And it’s dumb as hell. The ones of the husbands helping their wives really touched me🥲. As a mother of eight I can tell you that there is no time when a woman feels less secure about herself than right after she has a baby. Her tummy sags, she is worn out because of constant blood loss and all night feedings, her hormones start changing more rapidly after the birth than before, everyone and their brother have opinions on the "proper" way to raise a baby, and if she breastfeeds(like me) the first two weeks are terrible on her chest. If she wants to breastfeed but can't(been there one time) it makes her feel like less of a mother and there is no guilt quite like that one. God bless all the fathers and husbands who are there for their women. My husband always tells me I am beautiful even when I know I look the worst.
