The man crying about the pair of shoes is likely a father whose daughter passed away, you can see a picture of a child on the shoes and one of them says "love you always" and the other "rest in paradise". The lady in the video probably had a custom pair made for him, and you can hear her say "happy father's Day" at the end of the segment. Ok so the second kiddo with hearing loss did not have a cochlear (coke-lee-er) implant, just hearing aids. The implant has a device that attaches magnetically to your head.
