So the final jet and clip setting you are running is the 92 main, 32 idle, and leanest setting on the needle? Everytime you tune it it sounds better and better
@LAHover4 жыл бұрын
Correct, I think I have one more main jet I can try. But I'm first going to try a different magneto, spark plug, 40:1 (instead of 32:1), and I'm going to try advancing the timing a hair.

I've been using the 8-speed Bell chains from Walmart on all my bikes except for one, for years. Even on the single speed bikes. They're good chains I've never once had one break on me. And I scrap the master link. Sometimes I have to put two together to get the right length.
@Centar19644 жыл бұрын
If you connect that kill switch in line (series) instead of across (parallel) the coil lines it will work correctly...ie. break the blue wire and wire switch in.

Since the whole idea is to not peddle i suggest putting a smaller chain ring on the front of your cruiser bikes, i did so on my own to lower the gear ratio making the bike easier to peddle with the extra weight of the motor its not all perfect but just an idea

You can use engine enamel for normal car engines...but it will eventually flake and chip off and also insulates the engine a little so it doesn't cool as well...best stay unpainted unless you just gotta...;-)

Just take a crowbar to the wallet, get the 10 spoke mags from bikeberry. I have them on both my motorized bicycles. Just one less thing you have to worry about. They're maintenance-free
@LAHover4 жыл бұрын
I can't use disk brakes on this build. And mags are known to crack under the clamping force of caliper style brakes. Be carful when suggesting mag wheels to people without insuring they are using disk brakes... If YOU are using caliper brakes on your build please be carful, they are time bombs.
@marcs40914 жыл бұрын
@@LAHoverhhmm, I have never had a problem. One of my bikes is a Cranbrook with C brakes. And the other is a big heavy 79cc Phatmoto, disc in the front, V brake in the back. I beat the sh$# out of them. Thousands of miles. Have accidentally a couple of times hit big pot holes doing close to 40 mph. They are really solid. Although the only ones I have ever used are the ten spoke ones, they cost a tiny bit more then other ones I have seen. All four mags I'm using Panaracer Fires, 2.1 ×26 mountain bike tires. Definitely way more solid then the stock Cranbrook rims. I will do some research, but they have been awesome for me.
