ukaykeys indeed I have heard them....lovely. You know without realising it, over the years I picked out music from the film Tootsie and music from the film the client as having some special magic and I believe they were both grusin. I always wonder how composers have access to the same 12 notes but some of them cook up something unremarkable and others somehow manage to express a piece of heart and soul on a page ❣️

Uwe, Thank you for sharing that song. My wife & I work together some days side by side with multi-monitors and headsets. Today I was not working, but had my headphones on because my wife is teaching a class. First, I though your piano was miked different and then I realized. I won't listen to you without them on again..."my word" More tears with the cans on... J/C

thank you, that´s interesting... But I have to mention, that the sound will never be exactly the same, if you have these long term gaps between the recordings. Sometimes I also change the reverb or the EQ settings in the mix down (not too much, but one can hear it). But in the end, it´s all about the music :-)
