Such a lovely memoriam. I live in the subtropic USA, and we recently got a fluke snowstorm of several inches. The quiet hush that snow brings to the forest, to open spaces...your photos are a lovely extension this morning of the snow that disappeared here. And a beautiful backdrop to this piece. Thank you again for sharing your talent and gifts in this way.

Danke, Detlef!

I have followed Fred Hersch for many years, and personally met him at two (wonderful) concerts, the last one in Evanston IL in June 2024. He is a great individual, soft spoken, a great, gentle soul. His courses (you can follow them at the Open Studio) are illuminating too. Thank you Uwe, this is a stupendous addition to your transcriptions!

Bravo.

I’m listening to this again. Simply a phenomenal job of reproducing it. I just wish I had the $8000 mega stereo system with a tile floor and wood paneling in my basement that I listened to ,if I had a stereo system like that with your production I couldn’t even imagine this would sound like 👍
