To answer your question as to why they wore bright distinguishing colours in those days: Watch "Fort Niagara Muscket Demonstration" you'll see a rather large dude in British colours on the thumbnail.

Warfare was never “gentlemanly” it was always a matter of being the most effective in the most cost effective manner. Back then guns were not rifled and often fired a single shot and thus line warfare relied on mass volleys of fire. Assymetrical warfare was matter solely relegated to Light Infantry, Light Cavalry, Rangers, and Skirmishing units.

I think Old Man Reacts I found a reddit post that exposes the critical weakness of the Warp's daemons should something critical happen to even a single Chaos God. Say if one sudden died what do you think would exactly happen to the Warp and how it would change drastically? I am going to Paraphrase some comments from a Dark King reddit thread. "should The Dark King already exist in the Warp?" "Yes and no. So ussing your Slaanesh example. Until Fal of Eldar there were 3 chaos gods. There always were 3 and always would be. After the fall, just as reality changed, so did the warp. But because there is no coherent time in the warp that change has aways been. Another example would be, if somehow, someone defeteated and destroyes, say Nurgle, that there ever only was and will be 3 Chaos gods. So if there is no Dark King in reality, there never was and never will be one in the warp. Material reality shapes the warp. And though effect of material reality such entites at Slaaness or Nurgle are created. But warp does not have as much influence in the opposite way, as warp is timeless. This is why the Fateweaver is so important to Tzeentch" "Thats interesting, does that mean that if say, Ynnead was to destroy slaanesh, then retroactively she would have never existed, and the eldar empire would have never fallen and suddenly reform as if nothing happened?" "No, does not change material. Like in material world Slaneesh did not exist until a certain point. This to me is a critical important understanding. This means the Warp's forces have a critical disadvantage. If even One Chaos god should perish then this means they never existed in the Warp while the Material realm remains unaffected. This means the Warp entities lose nearly all their knowledge and everything down to the smallest conditions changes drastically for them. The Warp can be defeated and out at a critical disadvantage should anything happen to even one Chaos god. This must be why they ultimately gave up on the Dark King project once it failed for them somehow and why they all settled for the Great Game strategy only. The Warp's limitations are far more clear then ever. Should something happen to them they would loose all their acquired knowledge. This would be quite damaging to someone like Tzeentch who thrives on collecting knowledge and change. He would literally lose absolutely everything he had acquired to learn and maintained within the Warp from the now of the material world. They can be beaten.

Response: Nearly everyone calls them the British, it’s an accepted term to refer to them by and most people will assume that their who you’re talking about when you talk about the British.
