I finally have a day off and I turned on KZbin through my PlayStation so I could watch your vacation videos on my big flat screen tv. I LOVE your driving videos!! I felt like I was right there in the van. The footage was fantastic. And you were right, I thoroughly enjoyed the little winding roads traveling up and down South Wales vs. the two way roads. Thanks for bringing us on your latest journey :)

Very nice Rick. We just returned from our month in England, Wales and Ireland so it was fun to watch your drive around the narrow country roads. We had a wonderful time - I hope that your trip was loads of fun too.

Most cultivars of Rhododendrons come from Himalayas through Tibet, Burma, China, Thailand, Viet Nam, to Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and New Guinea. north america, however some cultivars can be found from other places around the world. the origins though are prob asian. hope that helps Rick. Living in South Wales I love it here It's a stunning place and you may find that BT are now having to get the fast internet into the country. Im with SKY and get a 46gig connection with a 10 gig upload speed so not too bad. A guy I work with just bought one of those mustangs he brought it into work stunning car mate Tony

Hello from Sweden! I love this part of Britain, greenery, discovering small villages by car and a calm nice voice to listen to, so this vid was ideal for me! Thanks for the lovely excursion! 🌷

Hi Rick ... great drive around .... and loved your ramblings 😊. Nice bit of tech to keep a eye on what's happening at home. It's Folk Week here in Sidmouth on the East Devon coast and i forget how much I take for granted the beach ... happy travels - Kate ⛵📷👍

Beautiful scenery. Those narrow roads look like some of our back roads or country roads here in NW Alabama. Some are not paved. I'm one of those people that is deathly afraid of heights, and when you walked up that hill, on the EDGE, I couldn't stand it. It was a wonderful sight tho. I love your scenery vids.

Nice video! Gorgeous footage! I agree with avoiding the media because it does set a sour tone to the day. While I feel deeply for the people in France and Germany, sometimes it can be over whelming for me to take in. I prefer small doses of media. Right about the roads in the US, that steep hill and all the foliage reminds me a bit of here! lol. Tough when you need things delivered, like furniture!

Thank you Rick. .. I found the camera to be quite low in the van this time. Couldn't see the road sometimes. But all in all I do love these videos. Thanks again.

I've enjoyed this so much, that I found myself yelling at you to go up the d*mn hill!!! LOL I'm so thrilled you did! It was amazingly gorgeous. I don't know if you noticed, but I noticed two sources of light on that hill, and I'm all for watching for things in the sky these days. Have you seen any of the huge planets that are out there lately? Maybe you should be watching the sky more too. Many in England are now putting up videos and films on the "orbs" in the sky. There are double suns too. They are showing up all over the world. More meteors than ever, and some of the views are beyond belief. Your so good at filming and photos that you should be checking them out too. Again, thank you for a wonderful drive through Wales, it is a beautiful place. Bless, Sheila

I've just watched this for the first time and it made me laugh. In Cornwall we have a method of driving up steep narrow hills. You have to put the car in first at the bottom, say a quick prayer, and then put your foot down all the way to the top. That was what the Welsh driver was doing when he came belting up the hill lol. He knew if he stopped he wouldn't get started again.

Yep, i noticed as soon as you cross the bridge, everyone is suddenly friendlier, they'll say hi toy total strangers. If you want some decent waves, the Porthcawl area is good, if you ever see the stormy weather vids with the waves crashing over the lighthouse, that's Porthcawl. Slow internet where you live ? I'm on 52mb BT fibre (fttc) 3 miles from Maesteg, not really in the sticks, but not near a big town either, yet my friend near hereford is less than 5mb You should see the bus drivers getting around the tight turns, it's an experience to try :D

You need an electric bike Rick, then you could stop anywhere. :-) Or put it in van and cycle back a little. I tried videoing the sound on the Scilly Isles recently (sounds silly don't it) but it was so quiet with only the sounds of birds and sea.

That really does look like beautiful countryside! A little rural for my taste. And Rick, I do have a rule that I don't move to any place that I can't pronounce :)

Really vibrant colours..Never been to South wales but it looks amazing! Not too sure about the new Iveco, it looks a bit scary and 'Tron' faced. I think as well selecting fastest route round there is a bit pointless as it seems routes are limited, if you went the scenic route, it'll probably be the same.

I really get what you're saying about not watching the news too much. I try to watch a lot less lately. But my philosophy is, "You can turn off the news, but it will never turn you off," meaning I need to watch enough to keep myself informed, and what goes on in the news, in politics, and government are things that affect all of us, so there's no escaping it. There have been issues in the past where the government considers some regulation that would really affect my life in a negative way so I'm glad I know about it and join with groups trying to stop it. I'm no activist but I'll get very vocal and very involved if it's an issue that hits close to home personally. It's a tough line to toe. I am trying to find that balance myself where I keep myself educated and informed, but not so much that it starts to affect me emotionally and physically.

What a cowinkiedink, that you once again mentioned the Iveco Daily; about a month ago I got a chance to see one of them over here in America. It was painted a deep blue and caught my attention, so much so, that when I decided I needed to spy what make and model, it brought a smile across my face of the thought of your desire for one. To me it looks like the Swiss Army Knife of a travel vehicle!

People have to be paid to maintain the coast path because otherwise tourists erode the cliffs and cause damage. Why shouldn't the visitors pay for convenient parking? It goes toward the upkeep of the national park
@chrisjohns27998 жыл бұрын
