hi there! highly reading the remnant chronicles series before dance of thieves. dance of thieves takes place in the same world, after the remnant chronicles and spoils how that series ends. as someone who loves the remnant chronicles, i will die on this hill. i love how popular dance of thieves has gotten, but i feel like people are missing out on an amazing reading experience by not knowing about the remnant chronicles. just a suggestion!

Throne of glass is sooo good!! It’s my favorite series that I’ve read from Sarah J Maas! The female main character is so strong and clever I love her sooo much! Can’t wait to see your thoughts❤️ and if it gets too much since it’s a long series, towards the end I read little romance books in between.

I use random number generators for alllll sorts of things. Helps my anxiety make the choice. I don’t wrap my books though. They are listed in a Google spreadsheet :)

Regarding Assassins blade, I would HIGHLY recommend actually reading throne of glass and crown of midnight first and then reading asssasins blade!

TOG is epic and I hope you love the whole series!! Also, just in case you didn’t know, there’s a trilogy that’s recommended to read before Dance of Thieves! The first book is Kiss of Deception. I don’t think you HAVE to read it first but it’s worth it! 🥰

You should read throne of glass in publication order instead of starting with the Prequel. SJM has an FAQ on her website for the reading order. Just my two cents 😊

color wheel generator based on genre so you have more choices and hopefully more of a mixture, random number generator on two or three picks to see which books you get to read off of 24 books to read in 2024, read books based on the alphabet, pull books based on the season, Create a Book Bingo with themes, prompts, genres to do to get a bingo at the end of the month, and count recommendations of a book you have on your tbr in the comments to read. Literally blindfold yourself to pick your tbr. Hopefully some of these ideas help. I am reading the graphic novel of Anne of Green Gables this month with my daughter so hope you enjoy.

If you're going to get into ToG I highly recommend you read it in order of publication (ToG, Crown of Midnight, and then The Assassins Blade) Sarah J Maas also reccomends to read it in that order. I think you will have a good time! Dark Matter is a bit vanilla if you are more into science fiction but it’s very readable and Tainted cup I am reading now and my only complaint is too much profanities. Malice was good but bit slow and Blade itself is classic. Great picks!

A couple thoughts/words of wisdom since I'm old enough to be your mom and am also a Christian woman and I love your gentle spirit and gentle heart! So...1. I am not an Emily Henry fan...I know...I'm in the minority... but you may want to read Beach Read first because one of the characters makes a cameo appearance in the People We Meet On Vacation. 2. There are open door sex scenes in The People We Meet On Vacation. 3. I LOVE Stephen King but haven't read him in years...until last year when we read Fairytale for my IRL. It's a fabulous story...has some recognizable Grimm Fairy Tales characters in it. However,, in the first chapter the Lord's name is taken in vain about (it feels like) 50 times! There was no reason for it IMHO, but it's Stephen King. I almost DNFd it because of all the G D. I'm glad I pushed through because I liked the story and that phrase does diminish as the story goes on. I just want you to be aware so you can guard your heart. I can't wait for you to read Anne of Green Gables. You should check out the KZbinr Miranda Mills because we are reading Anne in her Comfort Book club (it's a free book club) I think in March or April! Happy reading girl!!
