Rockstar is a little backlogged on updating traffic. I think they'll work in the 10f sometime after getting the Massacro and Rhapsody in.

@@conorjohn490 you actually can, very rarely, find a Rhapsody in traffic in online. they added 360/PS3 era DLC cars to traffic in the XB1/PS4/PC versions, but they're more prominent in story mode, especially for the high-end cars.

on the whole engine power discussion with the Weevil Custom The Pariah (and Weevil Custom, as well as a few others) _do_ have engine level 4 modifiers of 400, and the Weevil Custom's fully upgraded driving force is 0.6075 as a result, making it the 7th most powerful car in the game, knocking the Pariah off the same spot by a comfortable amount. However the only cars that place higher are the Open Wheelers, Imorgon, and Omnis e-GT, which all have caveats that make them very different to most other vehicles in the game, so for "ordinary" vehicles the Pariah used to hold the top spot but has been dethroned by the Weevil Custom The Torero XO also slots into 3rd place for the "ordinary" vehicles, with the 10F Widebody coming in 9th. Quite a few powerful cars in this update note that these positions are not including HSW cars. While purely considering the HSW engine upgrade none of them get close to the Pariah or Weevil Custom (although a few rank around the same area as the 10F Widebody), the main HSW upgrade is a big unknown, as are the HSW turbos Also unrelated but as someone who's fiddled with the handling data a bunch I actually like what Rockstar did with the Omnis e-GT. It's a totally different approach to handling an electric car which has potential even if it didn't live up to it this time. I was expecting a Neon clone but it's actually much closer to the Imorgon as far as the handling data is concerned. It could have been as brutal on the acceleration as that and honestly I don't know why it wasn't (well, aside from the obvious)

Couldn't disagree more on you not wanting spoilers adding traction on most of the cars. Sure some high powered cars could be more fun without the bonus, but a lot of the rest feel sluggish or not as reliable as they could be. You could always remove/break the spoiler if you want more challenge driving. But cars with active spoilers without the traction bonus feels wrong imo, they might as well not add them to the model...

In terms of getting what you’re paying for, I agree spoilers should work as designed. However less traction doesn’t make any cars feel clunky. Does the Massacro feel clunker than the Jester?

The buffalo STX performs the complete opposite of it's real life counterpart. The hellcat charger isn't a road course car and has horrible handling. The zx should be up there imo. ZL1 is literally a road course car and has insane handling especially the ZL1 1LE version.

In my humble opinion, i don't think the HSW Vigero will completely demolish the Muscle Class if it gets a 1:01-ish laptime since even without the HSW treatment is kinda challenging to drive, so people will probably not be as fast as they would be in a Buffalo STX

sm722 feels too heavy for what it's supposed to be edit: I disagreed at first but I thought for a few more seconds and realized you're right, while saying that I'd rather spoilers only do what they do irl, stabilize at high speeds but not nerf the ability to get a lil squirrely on purpose sometimes.

I like to drive in free roam like I drive irl, only in the asphalt, on day 1 I bought the corsita and the LM87, and I always order new cars to be delivered to my auto shop for obvious reasons, so I decided to drive the corsita back to my high end apt and call the mechanic for the LM87, and I kid you not, halfway to my apt I nearly got my John Marston's hat replica that I own to wear cuz it felt like I was riding a mechanical bull, extremely unreliable to drive/race, but damn, it was too much fun to try to tame it

Instead of the SM722 I would've rather had something like the regular Mercedes SLR or maybe the CLK GTR. Its an ok car, but nothing outstanding, especially considering its price. Edit: Would've been cool to have an estate version of the Omnis, that performs about the same as the Neon. The Taycan (Neon) and Omnis (E-Tron GT) share a platform in real life anyway and I think Audi wants to make an estate version of the E-Tron anyway.

don't think he'll have a strong opinion on it, if people find ways to enjoy racing them all power to them, only way brough would consider racing OWs is if they had low grips, since when he tried that during Day 1 of the DLC he found it enjoyable--otherwise he does not enjoy normal OW races

traction bonuses from spoilers need to go, I no longer race in GTA since I have other games to scratch that itch, modifying my vehicles to just have the most fun to drive in freemode instead of performance focused the spoilers is coming off so many of them and the gameplay experience is that much more enjoyable. Honestly I wish cars in GTA had mechanical traction somewhere between lowgrip and standard tyres so we had to work a bit for our speed. Downforce is the way to handle spoilers, but they really should give drag penalties so we could chose between having big traction or high topspeed. Let us have more than one meta.

no since ghosting in PH causes the camera to go all funky and the staff have no interest in it i'd also argue that'll just move the inevitable carnage to lap 2 where it will be worse with different paced cars

I think that the new cars that have active spoiler and doesn't get traction bonus by adding one it's intentional too. It's a way of people can use whatever visual part that they want without being penalized in performance, because active spoilers looks cool. And i think this should be the way. It doesn't matter if it is realistic or not, on video games is all about visual customization.

on cars with active spoilers, custom spoilers _already_ do nothing. It's not some deliberately choice by Rockstar to enhance player freedom otherwise they'd use the flag they created years ago that removes the spoiler buff. That's not the issue anyway, the issue is that the Itali RSX, Comet S2 and others have their spoilers hardcoded to be the same as an ordinary car with no spoiler

tbh I hope Rockstar selectively removes spoiler grip in the future. Cars like the Comet S2 really should get that additional traction bonus while others like the Itali RSX would be completely broken if given the bonus. Maybe they could modify how much the bonus increases traction to the car?

@@Johnny362000 Sure, the Buffalo STX is faster than the Omnis e-GT, but the Omnis e-GT has 3 times the resistance to RPG fire, Sticky bombs and explosive rounds (sure that's when the Omnis e-GT is occupied, bearing in mind). I would still have the Omnis over the STX all day long

@@Johnny362000 Straight line speed isn't as important in free roam as cornering and acceleration which it beats the Buffalo in. And it can take 12 RPGS. Which let's be honest, most of the bum ass noobs in free roam spam RPGs because they can't aim for shit. They'll spam you with RPG rounds and somehow still cry if just one of your 40 kills against them came from a Marksman Rifle.

When driving the rear spoiler seems to push the suspension down even on flat roads causing the car to speed up as if its kerb boosting. I think that's what he meant.

It has enough downforce, that once it hits like 125mph, the DF will push the body down enough that it starts bumping against the suspension upper limit, effectively giving it constant kerb boost.

@@cataleast is this on a specific custom spoiler, any custom spoiler or the default spoiler? Reminds me of the old RE-7B with the speed glitch

@@pedinhuh16 I used custom spoiler, have a mod that displays speed on your license plate and it went up to like 167mph. don't know how accurate that is but on my test track that's on the highway, banshee 900 did 3:31, glitched gargoyle 3:19, lm87 3:15, pariah 3:26 * note: it's mostly the north part of the map, there's a couple turns so I couldn't wheelie all the way with the gargoyle

@@pedinhuh16 the only reason it happened on a specific spoiler with the RE-7B is because there were literally only 2 spoiler options: stock and custom
