This is the most beautiful piece of media I have ever witnessed. “We Didn’t Crack The Mirror,” a parody of Billy Joel’s iconic song “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” stands out as a brilliant example of how humor, cultural references, and clever songwriting can blend together to create something truly unique. The parody manages to keep the fast-paced, rhythmic style of the original while weaving in fresh, relatable content that resonates with modern audiences. With its witty and sharp lyrics, the song touches on contemporary issues, pop culture, and internet trends, making it both a nostalgic throwback to Billy Joel’s classic and a commentary on today’s society. Its ability to capture the chaotic nature of the world, while adding a humorous twist, makes it a standout piece in the world of parody music. Moreover, “We Didn’t Crack The Mirror” succeeds because it takes a well-known song and gives it a modern twist without losing the essence of the original. It brings people together in a shared experience, whether they grew up with “We Didn’t Start the Fire” or are discovering it through this parody. The song’s rapid-fire delivery mirrors the overwhelming amount of information and media people consume today, making it not only a parody but also a reflection of the times. Its clever wordplay, cultural commentary, and infectious energy elevate it beyond mere imitation, solidifying its place as one of the most amazing and engaging parodies in recent memory.

No because you literally did so amazingly well on this and put in loads of effort Like I genuinely love this as a fellow singer and history enjoyer Fun fact for anyone who didn’t know: The Wizard of Oz was a book made about the populist movement but the author didn’t say as much because he wanted people to be able to enjoy it. There are a lot of characters who relate to parts of the movement, and it’s actually really interesting once you make the comparisons.

I don't believe that you guys did this for school, I think you noticed the incredible rhyming potential between "fracture" and "manufacture" and you knew what you had to do-simply deciding to pass it off as a school project to seem less "nerdy." No shame, bro. No shame. Any sane man would have done the same thing. Likewise, and insane man would have done the same thing. I just think that any member of the male half of humanity would have done it. I mean, heck, I did the same thing when I realized that "mitosis" rhymed with "prognosis." Truly, though, this 'twas incredible. Edit: here is the link for all y’all that want it (I have no idea how to animate): kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2nCeZV8m8aCpKc

@@JimFourOneTwoThree I only have the audio, unfortunately. Never made a video for it (though I want to sometime soon). Maybe I’ll let this inspire me to animate it. 🤔
