Many years ago my grandparents would care for me a couple of evenings a week while my parents worked. My retired grandad would cook a full roast dinner every Wednesday just so I could have bubble and squeak on Thursdays. No chilli but it was cooked in home made mucky dripping. Served with left over cold meat. Grandad called it "fry up". I adored it. We'd eat it while watching Thunderbirds on the telly and even now 40+ years later if I see anything related to Thunderbirds I can almost taste Grandads fry up tea.

You know what, last week (on Friday) when you posted the "Making Fish and Chips" I decided, you know what why not make my own chips for once. So I did, as little sort of kitchen experiment. It wasn't perfect, and I had potatoes that were too small. But I chopped and boiled them anyway. And, they turned out a real winner. Some of the best chips I have tasted if I say so myself. So, the reason I bring this up, was because if I hadn't stumbled upon Atomic Shrimp a good few months ago, and if I didn't subscribe about 1 month ago. I wouldn't have watched that video and I wouldn't have made those chips last week. And well, making those chips was rather fun (and tasty!) And the homemade feeling of the videos is comforting in some sort of way. I just like this channel and the people around it. So, good luck with KZbin and I'll be here for at least a little more of your journey.

Seeing as how popular the 99p, etc challenges for budget grocery. I liked those, thanks!

Bit of a rambling post, I'm sorry. I first discovered this channel through the scambaiting (as I'm sure most did), and was surprised to see that you had a variety of different content. I'm not gonna hold some kind of moral high ground; I didn't like it at first, and thought you should stick to exclusively scambaiting. After a little while, I watched one of your weird stuff in a can videos while bored, and it was really, REALLY good. (The fish cock one😁) I guess I'm rambling in typing form, but what I'm trying to say is: your channel is amazing because of the diverse topics, and you're very fun to watch. Congrats on making KZbin your full-time job, Shrimp.

Not being a hater to the OP but I found the alternative content a very welcome and smooth transition. Just my opinion

@@sparker68 Yeah, I was just kind of pig-headed thinking that someone should stick to one kind of content. I totally agree that the variety is amazing, but it took some character development on my part, haha.

I kind of felt the same at first. I watched a few scambaiting videos and just kind of ignored the random content because I didn't expect to enjoy it. I'm glad I was wrong though, this has quickly become one of my favorite channels!

@@jomagg5863 hey, its nice to hear about people changing their mind or something growing on you. Or being "pigheaded" if you will. Im trying to be less pigheaded myself. Its a journey

I've been binge watching. What a joy this channel is. I thought I would tell you, if you don't already know, that you can also eat the flower buds, or opened flowers, although they will not be as firm, of the wild mustard plant. I have eaten them and they are really good. You steam them and they taste very much like broccoli. Give them a try if you like.

No clips of animals chewing something when you tasted the dish? I've been let down :( Best of luck for your future video production career anyways, I'll be there to watch, cheers!

Beautiful shot you captured of the sun through the trees. Thank you for that small moment of visual and audible pleasure.
