totally agree. That and theft got so out of hand at my all three of my Walmarts in town- they locked up the makeup behind glass at the two smaller Walmarts, and at the larger one, they make you purchase your products before you leave the cosmetics area. I pretty much purchase most of mine at Target and Ulta now anymore, because I hated getting someone every time I wanted to buy something at the smaller Walmarts, and I could tell they were judging me at the bigger Walmart for my make up obsession. At least at Ulta, I have kindred spirits, and there are already testers for people who need to see how a product looks/swatches before they buy- lol- speaking of, due to the recent Makeup Revolution release of the Emily Edit palettes, I am now at Platinum status. lol for the first time ever. Woohoo! I've always wanted to go platinum, just never spent that money in the store.

emilynoel83 I found that spinning storage thing at Aldi yesterday too! Love a good haul. I had good luck at Old Navy this year, some nice basic tops and cute capri jeans. Not running after anyone, but I still like to be cute and comfy. Not going to spend $40 (on sale...lol) for a henley at Nordstrom when I can get the same thing at Target!

Than you Emily for mentioning the sampling of drugstore products. I am the dept manager of the cosmetics dept at a big box store and I see this all the time. Customers don't realize these products are sealed for their protection. I am not allowed to say anything to the customers as they are opening and sampling with the products. We have a return policy in place you can always return or exchange a product if it doesn't work for you. I have to claims out so much product that has been opened or tested by our customers not to mention that its just not a pleasant shopping experience when you keep picking up products that have been opened and tampered with. In a perfect world it would be nice to have testers in the dept, however with the amount of traffic our store gets it would be impossible to keep them clean and sanitary, not to mention the tester s would all get stolen (sad but true). I'm sorry my rant is now over.

Yes!!! Walmart revamped their clothing line with brands like Time & Tru. I got amazing jeggings, basic tees, and nice workout tanks.

Hi Emily, Thanks for another great video. I live in a small county in Florida,we only have 1 Wal-Mart. It is always picked over, people opening products, smearing nail polish swatches all over sign displays. I totally agree, it's vandalism of property, also a lot of theft as told to me by a Wal-mart associate. My point is a lot of people in this town lack respect & courtesy. Things that would be common sense. I just drive 20 miles to another Wal-mart and find what I need no problem. I also take trips to Target which is further, but that's ok. Keep these random hauls coming. Love ya!😊

Crystal ASMR Yes! Target, Walmart and Kohl’s are where I shop for clothes. Just basic comfy shorts, yoga pants, plain t-shirts and tank tops. I keep it easy too! If my clothes get messed up, I don’t feel bad because most of what I buy for clothing is within the $3-$6 range. Lol.

I love the ELF brow pencil. I've gone through at least 4 of them. I reach for it over my high end brow pencils. That drives me crazy when people open every product on the shelf! This is exactly why drugstores need to put out testers! I usually have to order foundation, concealer and lip products online after I see what shade is best for me. It's annoying but I won't buy anything that was opened! Love you Emily.

I love the Elf eyebrow pencil too!!! I had chemotherapy 20 years ago and unfortunately I wasn't left with much eye brow hair. The Elf pencil works wonders for me. I use the taupe color and never feel slighted with the end result!!!! The price is awesome too!!! Rock on Emily!!!!

Nobody, nobody does a swatch like Emily! You are the very first KZbin make up channel that I found probably about six years ago. I have been faithful ever since. I think I have purchased more make up on your recommendations than any other KZbinr that I watch. I’ve watched you start out in a little apartment and all of your moves and two lovely children. H&M has great dresses like that, too. They are usually $4.99. My 7 year old loves them, we've been buying them since she was little. We move them to nightgowns once they are too short to wear out. They have solids, prints, even animals on them :)

Hi Emily! If you haven’t already, you might want to give Old Navy online a try. Great tanks, tees, blouses, jeans, etc. plus, you can shop for the whole family there. My two boys were raised in Old Navy; school, play, and dressier shirts with slacks for play and dinner out with the folks. I don’t shop in the stores, but online is great. They have plenty of sale items, coupons, and cash awards, which are always helpful for a growing family. ❤️

Completely agree about the basic shirts and tanks as a mom. Honestly, most days I wear tshirts, leggings, and either flip flops or sneakers. I just dont see the need to dress up when most days Im home all day with my daughter. I actually do have some nice clothes in my closet but I rarely get the chance to wear them. I really love kimono style cardigans for those days where i do want to dress up a bit more. I can throw the kimono over a basic white, black, or brown tank top with some leggings and sandals and I feel cute but comfy. Walmart has really nice tanks and shirts but next time you are there check out their active-wear type of shorts and their leggings. Love them.

I have to say that totally agree with you on everything! First, I miss old-school hauls but so few people do them anymore. You learn so much about a person when watching them. Secondly, every single time I go to the makeup section, so much of the makeup has been opened and played with. Usually its done by teenagers, and I know this because a lot of the time they are still in the vicinity doing it. This has stopped me from getting things I wanted multiple times because there wasn't a single one that hadn't been messed with. One thing that I missed out on was the special edition physicians formula set. Last of all, I totally agree about the clothes. I'm not a mom, but if i were, I wouldn't want to dress up everyday. When I have my nephews over, I never know what kind of messes we will make. And while your looks are casual, they still cute.

I have a 16 year old Autistic son and a six year old with developmental delays. I take them during the week to PT, OT, therapy group play and the library. I get up at 4am to have time for me. I love makeup, so there's that but clothes... give me comfort! Yes I still want to look good but, honestly, my exact life is what the good Lord made Walmart leggings and tunics for! I agree with you about the comfy clothing. I love that you wear what makes sense as well as comfortable. I'm with you on clothes. I work in a daycare so 5 days a week, I am around like 24 kids. I want to buy cheaper, simple clothes that i don't get if it gets messed up. THANK YOU for being real about not being a clothes person! I love seeing people who care to dress really well but I just can't make myself want to be a fashionista haha. As a nursing mom who also has a toddler I am almost always covered in food and/or bodily fluids and easy washing basics are my jam. Yay for hauls!! 😍🙌😍🙌 I'm the same way...hauls are SO much more fun than PR, and I'm saying that as someone who gets a LOT of PR...the thrill of the hunt, especially when it comes to drugstore makeup is my favorite thing. I just swatched those Rimmel palettes on my channel and I agree with you on the UltraViolet one...the shades do need to be built up a little bit and a lot of the purples look similar on the eyes. But I still love it because there aren't a lot of purple palettes out there. ❤️

I 100% relate to the "mom" wardrobe! I used to be SO into getting designer clothes and always looking put together. Now that I have a 3-year-old boy, all I care about is comfort and functionality. And, like you, I feel great in those kinds of clothes! My makeup is where I express myself the most. I love these kinds of videos! I love the cheap lounge type clothes from Walmart! And kids play clothes! And SOME cute little kids school clothes...... I completely agree with you about people getting into makeup at Walmart, drug store. That IS THE SAME AS SHOP LIFTING! It cant really be sold after that! That annoys me so so bad! I do wish there was more testers at the drug store, but like you said you can return it and it so cheap..... I love the way my two year old smells! And my older daughter always smelled so so good. Now she wears bath and body works and still smells good. But that baby smell, love it.

I love Walmart clothes - I get all my workout racerback tanks (under $5) at Walmart and I love the Athletica shorts (under $7)- they are knit - aren't too short and wash up beautifully. I got 6 pair this year and couldn't be happier. Everything washes great and doesn't shrink.

They are the Athletic brand and say they are french terry but they are not heavy at all, only have a french terry looking inside. They are just perfect - not too short, not long - you can find them on their website or in store in the women's section that has like workout clothes. They have front pockets only which I need.

I love hauls. It’s like looking inside someone’s closet with out feeling like a creeper! I bought the cutest comfy breezy tank top at Walmart this summer. I haven’t bought anything there in ages, but they’ve upped their game. My worst habit with comfy tops is finding one then buying it in every color. I was just away on vacation for a week and had 5 of the same tank tops in different colors. They become my uniform.

Thank you for posting this video. The little fashion bit you spoke about is exactly how I feel about my own fashion. Multiple times I've been accused of "not caring about my fashion". It's not that I don't have a fashion sense, I do have some really cute fashionable outfits but really all I want is to be comfortable! and yes! I do feel good and think I look good. That video Jeffree Star put up the other day about shopping at Walmart rubbed me the wrong way. Even some of the these Influencers act like they didn't wear Ross's or Target before they started making money. So thank you for your video and not being ashamed of shopping at Walmart for clothing.

I’m THE SAME when it comes to wearing comfy “mom” clothes most of the time. Not stretched out yoga pants and oversized sweatshirts (although that happens too 🤫) but just regular tops, nothing fancy!! Also, my mom recently got a cotton dress for my kindergartner at Kohl’s that had a little sticker on it that said “recess dress” and it was so cute! Now my little girl always requests her recess dress to go out and play!

I like the art of fashion, but I'm a practical dresser and have to be comfortable. I no longer work a career job where I have to wear office business clothes, and am able to wear leggings and comfy oversize shirts or skirts with a cute t-shirt or tank. Thrifting, hand me downs and Walmart or Target have been my options for purchasing. I can find unique items when thrifting and some awesome finds like a beautiful pale Tiffany blue patterned Ralph Lauren silk maxi skirt for $6.

I feel the same way lately about Target's clothes. I used to find the cutest tank tops and tee shirts, basics etc.......but I'm underwhelmed with the new brands. Years ago I bought so many velour sweat outfits at Walmart because I had an injury and needed easy outfits. They were so cute! The tops you bought are so nice and oh my gosh the dresses for the girls!!! I remember buying dresses for my girls, great memories. It was a so fun when we went school clothes shopping then lunch and ice cream at 31 Flavors aka Baskin Robbins. Great haul Emily, thank you!

The best thing to put on a kids face is a Cetaphil moisturizer in a big jar with the green lid. It was prescribed by our pediatrician for dry skin and it’s great for face and body. But you can by it out of counter pretty much in any drugstore or Walmart. I use it mostly in winter when my daughter’s skin tends to be drier.

I am an avid thrifter/bargain shopper and I dress comfortably and it’s not just t-shirts and leggings/jeans. Not hating at all but you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort/price at all! Even just adding a nice necklace or a layering piece for filming would really amp up your look.

I like that darker pink shirt you showed us! Great color, like wine. T-shirts and jeans or stretchy pants for me most days, like you said. And I really like spending the minimum a possible, which is why I buy some of my clothing (especially jeans) at second hand stores- because while I like new jeans sometimes, I always really like that lived in feel of jeans. I know, it's weird, but I like that they've been broken in already. I also like buying clothing on clearance- nothing like passing the 3 dollar rack at Walmart and buying two or three shirts that'll be worn over and over.

I love how authentic you are! It’s so nice to see on KZbin nowadays. When you talked about clothes it was so refreshing to see a KZbinr that isn’t spending thousands of dollars on the same Cartier bracelets everyone else has - no originality - and act like they’re some kind of celebrity.
