The Jasic EVO’s are great machines for the money The torch looks like an MB15 so is only rated for 150amps Stick an MB25 on there and that should stop the overheating torch issue 😁

Jasic is a decent machine. Got the ac/dc tig 200 pulse machine. My only gripe is the little connector for the HF etc. Is a bit crappy

Having the same problem mate. We use the Jasic for all site work, good machine but been having an absolute nightmare with the HF connection. Have to carry 2 different torches in the van at all times just in case 😓

shame about the cheap torch. Gives a bad overall impression that Jasic don't really care. I guess you get what you pay for. My Fronius torch is like a tank. No chance of that melting. thanks for sharing your adventures.

Yes different price point though. They are certainly bang for buck and you can fit any decent euro torches on this were as fronius torch are big money and pretty much have to use their own unless paying lots for adapters

I made the same mistake with wrong polarity several weeks back. I spent so long trying to dial it in before realizing.🤒

I understand from stick welding that switching polarity means putting more heat into the workpiece vs the electrode and vice versa. Some rods can only weld a certain polarity.

When you compare budget machines, I think you can't put Jasic in the same category as Parkside, Yeswelder, Arccaptain... not the same quality at all.

Yes, there are degrees to it but I use kemppi, fronius, emw and miller so to me jasic is a budget machine, not to say it's a bad machine

@@ARCONEWELDING I hear you... and I agree. At least here on our side of the pound, Jasic welder are more expensive et display much better quality than the current chinese welders... Take care! Biais: I just bought one of those (equivalent to Evo series) to replace an Esab stick welder I had; I am impressed...

hard to believe a professional welder cant tell when the polarity is wrong on a machine by the way it welds , to be fair a lot of those welds are very average at best.

@@ARCONEWELDING well i``m using a couple grand Esab machine and have this exact one a a backup and i still can`t name it as a budget welder as it`s not. To be honest it`s so good and bulletproof that i don`t understand why esab and fronius are few times up the price. Technology changed so much in a last few years that not necessary to spend thousands anymore...
