The best part about it is that for all the times that Byakuya told Makoto not to assume that other people were thinking the same way as he was, he was assuming that Aoi was thinking in his game-theory terms. In other words, he's a hypocrite. Seeing that hypocrisy for himself was what triggered his character development, however minor/subtle it ended up being.

I think my brain is still recovering from the intensity of this chapter. Up until 33:47 point, I thought it was Byakuya, because they pretty much ruled out Toko and Hiro by virtue of me only being a third of the way through the video. Then... he objected. He could have pressed for the vote and graduated, but instead he called Toko's account into question. So I was like, "Wait, it's not Toko, not Hiro, and not Byakuya, so that just leaves... Oh shit...!" Kyoko and Hina. Kyoko wouldn't make any sense, so then that left... Hina!? Then she actually confesses after Byukuya points the finger at her. But then I realize we're only half way through the video, so I'm like "That can't be right... It's too soon!" And as the contradictions were revealed and Byakuya became increasingly rattled, I was like "It's totally him. Finally we get to nail this bastard." But then... suicide. It was suicide. Honestly, I wondered why nobody had killed themselves yet. Being trapped in this horrible situation, being psychologically traumatized on a daily basis by a sadist teddy bear? Yeah... I'd probably just up and die in that scenario. I'd go "Fuck this shit, I'm out." And it finally happened, but not for those reasons. But because Hina BELIEVED it to be those reasons, she concocted this whole plot to get herself and the others to commit mass-Seppuku, so they could all collectively atone for their shameful acts. See, it makes more sense when you put it in a Japanese cultural context where everyone has an honor fetish, right? And why did she BELIEVE Sakura had killed herself for the predictable reasons? Because that FUCKING BASTARD Monokuma replaced the real suicide note with his BULLSHIT one and thus set Hina's whole plot into action, because he KNEW it would happen and wanted to masturbate profusely to the students' slaughter from wherever he's remotely controlling those teddy bears, MOANING and SQUEALING in DELIGHT as his PURE WHITE STUFFING comes ERUPTING from his FLAGPOLE! Fuck. Him. Once all's said and done, Hina is obviously burdened with guilt and, honestly, I've been waiting for something like that. These people kill to try and "graduate" yet seem to think nothing of the aftermath. Yes, the obvious aftermath that should've immediately come to the minds of Sayaka, Mondo, and Leon, the "not evil" culprits from before: HOW DO YOU LIVE WITH YOURSELF!? Picture it: you deceive everyone, and they die. Monokuma sends you on your way with a grin and a pat on the head. ...Aaaaannnd you basically just indirectly committed mass-murder. Enjoy the crippling depression and self-loathing, it was totes worth it! :D Yeah... ya'll dun goofed. But Hina had time to realize it and SAY "I dun goofed," and enjoy the crippling depression and self-loathing without even having killed anyone in any way! That's something I've wanted them to try and address. Let's see what they do with it. Now, what about Carebear-senpai? What'd he do to the students' bodies? Is it... Despair Disease? Yeah... apparently it's some disease that turns you into a sadistic teddy bear who masturbates to death and despair. Or... just a guy CONTROLLING a teddy bear that masturbates to death and despair. Yes, the teddy bear is doing the masturbating, not the guy. Or maybe they're both doing it, I dunno. At least, that's what I remember from reading spoilers on Dangan Ronpa Wikia. I frickin love most of these characters, but Sakura's death hit me the hardest. Even after Owada, Fujisaki and Yamada, Sakura was the one I cried the most for. And that is because a lot of people gave a damn about were victims of self inflicted death. Even though she did it to beat Monokuma, it still didn't stop the waterworks, mostly because I was touched by her nobility. And as a side note, I was angry at Asahina for what she tried to do, even though she is another favorite of mine. But my anger became directed at Monokuma and escalated after he revealed that he duped her! I could no longer blame Asahina at that point. And then... ALTER EGO!?! T-T YOU ARE GOING DOWN, YOU HIGH TECH BUILD A BEAR REJECT!!
