I don't believe it will control doors,etc. It's not bidirectional.

Can it program new smart keys, like on Honda new vehicles? The bluetooth makes it feel easier, just don't leave it in the vehicle! Lol, a friend has left his in customer cars several times.

T Nads, It depends on the make of the vehicle, I personally haven't done a power balance test, if its important to you I will look into next time I use the scan tool, just let me know. _Randomfix

I'm trying to buy a scan tool to enable engine start after a crash for a Mercedes-Benz... wouldn't wanna spend an exaggerated amount. What do you recommend ?

This unit is good and I also like the fx2000 for under 200. You need do your research as to the capabilities of erasing crash data if you desire that. I'm never used such feature except for on a 2004 mustang and basically had to buy a new [ used ebay srs module] because I was unable to reset using a scantool. Check ebay for services like this. Good luck and I have a video on the fx2000 as well.

Da c, great question and I'm not sure as I'm unable to turn off the Bluetooth on VCI connector (it automatically connects). These Autel scan tools are built pretty well and I don't think the Bluetooth will stop working. _RandomFix

@@RANDOMFIX I bought it and went thru it. You can use a usb cable or blue tooth. Go into settings and you have option to turn off BT. This is a great scanner for the money.

Can i do special comands like turn on and off or lower or raise Windows. Also is it necessary to do all car updates? Will it make my scanner slower

Alfonso, each make has different parameters. I've used to roll window up and down. The updates are included for one year and after that it will still work however for example it will only access obd2 on a 2022 Corolla for example but it can access the manufacturer side on a 2020 Corolla, if you purchased your scan tool in 2019. It can check sensor voltage and fault codes but you need an additional programmer for the tpms program. This is what I remember.
