Running at 600fps is pointless, even if your display supports it because human vision just isn't that good. Anything over 165Hz is rapidly diminishing returns. Also, while not an issue with Hit and Run with a frametime variance of about 1ms. Running unlocked in a modern game is going to result in a broad variation in frametimes. This will spoil your performance in an esports title far more than running at a steady, consistent 60fps.

@@RandomGaminginHD they are mostly tied to the jump physics, with frames calculating the speed you shoot into. Most speedrunners choose to play it at 200 FPS thanks to that, so you still get a substantial boost while being controllable

There is a mod launcher for this, with more graphics options if you wanted to check those out. Aswell as restoring some missing things which were on other consoles, like on the hover car translucent effect. It's built into the launcher, aswell as DX9 support. Nvidia fake HDR works aswell if you use DXVK

We wont reach peak gaming until The Simpsons game can run at 16K at 1000 fps on integrated graphics. Might take a while. :P An idea for a video : if you ever get your hands on integrated graphics like the new Xe2 from intel or Strix Point/Halo from AMD and test this game at 4/8/16K and see how they do... Thanks. BTW if you want a "real" 16K game, flight simulator 2020 can do 8K at 200% resolution which makes it 16K... and it works but yeah even a 4090 and 32gb of ram runs out of video memory at some point, havent tried 64gb of ram yet.

You could also limit FPS in Nvidia Control Panel, you don't need external programs for it. Same goes for AMD cards, use Adrenalin.
