You can use a straw to insert the BBs. SOOOOOOO much faster. I have a metal tube but I've even used drinking plastic straws

Эм...один только вопрос, особенно судя по банке, кнут для красоты? Как владелец класического, кнута сделанного из кожи - при таком ударе он банку в лучшем случае сминает и отправляет в полёт, а по факту рассекает её напрочь. Тут же я так понимаю он служит просто издавать звук. То есть функция сугубо декоративная?

You should roll the whip to smooth the surface of the overlay and it will crack easier if there are no kinks in it.

I tried and tried and tried to do a pool ball size monkey fist and after several failures try to golf ball size monkey fist finding them both extremely difficult. Maybe this will be a better project for me .

An absolutely beautiful whip, however, the gentleman that first came up with this design and method is still running around screwing with the other inmates hair and pissing the head nurse off at the insane asylum just down the street somewhere in Pakistan. Reports are that he's in good spirits but insists on braiding the cobras they train next door at the park. I'd pay good money to own one of these whips tho, they have such a history. 😊

Sorry for the late reply, the lenght is measured before the balls so it will shrink abit after the balls are place in it.

If you are looking for some good videos on how to make nylon whips check out videos by NicksWhipShop or Adam Crack. They have videos on making some nice quality whips and have much more in-depth instructions. Also, electrical tape shouldn't be used in whips. It can break with use and cause weak spots in the whip.
