You're so right. I don't know if it's worse hearing the "It's not real" from people or doctors. Context: I have fibro, and I've had a doctor tell me to my parent's face that he doesn't think the disability is bad enough to where I need medical aid. The guy wouldn't listen or talk to me specifically because I'm also autistic, so he apparently didn't think I was smart enough to speak for myself or something.

my friend has pots and im autistic and have ptsd, its become a running joke between us that i DEFINATELY got my ptsd from hitting her on the head with a cooking pot, which is DEFINATELY how she got pots. This is no the full extent of my rubbish humour and i love it XD

Same, it only happens sometimes and usually passes after like ten seconds, but one time I ended up falling/sliding down the wall because I was too dizzy to stand up. I guess I should probably ask my doctor about it, but idk my doctor's kinda useless tbh

I have developmentaldisabilities (neurodiverence), one of which affects me physically in regards to motor skills and was rendered temporarily physically disabled after suffering an injury last year, which I'm still occasionally suffering after effects from and had to use a brace and a cane to regain my independence. Im alll sorts of messed up. POTS Gastroparesis Von wilebrands disease hEDS Chronic fatigue So I use a wheelchair and a gastric tube or G tube for short. I have no disabled friends and it gets very lonely. These TikTok’s give me that little bit of community and support that I very much appreciate. ❤

Regarding the one about POTS, I've had two similar instances, of which were both as I was in/getting out of the shower. It literally felt and seemed exactly the same. I felt light-headed, could barely see/had super fuzzy, TV static, and "tunnel" vision, my ears were ringing really loudly, I was breathing heavily, my legs and body felt weak and like I had pins and needles, and I literally felt like I was going to pass out. Does that mean I have POTS? I really doubt it. But I still don't know what it was, because I was completely fine every other time. I'd eaten and had enough water that day, I was healthy and everything. What was it?

I have a knee thing. one time it got so bad that my mom took me to the urgent care. when they saw me limping, they gave me a wheel chair. I was constantly afraid someone was going to grab me. I was afraid that I was in the way. I felt out of place.I hated it. I have so much love for people who need to use them daily. 🫶
