Toyota Cerritos made it super easy for me to get in a car to review, so I can share with everyone around the world. This is the best hobby I've ever had! Thanks to all my subscribers and viewers!
The Toyota Camry midsize sedan has been on sale in the US since 1983 and in those 35 years, the automaker has sold more than 10 million examples in America. A complete redesign for the 2018 model year spun the Camry into its eighth generation. With its recent redesign, not much is new for 2020, except for one important addition Vented Seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Toyota offers the Camry with a choice of two engines. There's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, although in XSE trim, that same engine makes 206 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
For those who like some extra shove, Toyota offers a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Both engines' power outputs lie on the healthier end of the segment. All Camrys pair their powerplants with an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels.
The most economical four-cylinder Camry can achieve an EPA-estimated 29 miles per gallon in the city and 41 mpg highway.
For the lower end of the segment, the $23,845 Camry L is competitively priced, but the top-tier, $34,600 XSE V6 sits on the pricey side of the well-optioned competition. The Camry L comes standard with LED high- and low-beam headlights, 16-inch steel wheels, an acoustic windshield, TSS-P, a 4.2-inch TFT instrument-cluster display, a 7-inch touchscreen and auto up/down for all four power windows.
The $24,350 Camry LE adds a power driver's seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat and an anti-theft alarm. Next up in price is the $25,550 Camry SE, which features a sportier appearance thanks in part to a more aggressive fascia, rear spoiler and 18-inch black machined-finish wheels. The SE also boasts auto climate control, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and sport suspension.
Moving up, the $28,925 Camry XLE builds off the LE's touring-oriented appearance, but gets you a lot more stuff, some of which includes a larger 8-inch touchscreen, 18-inch silver machined-finish wheels, LED daytime running lights and heated mirrors with blind-spot monitoring.
The XLE also includes keyless access, dual-zone climate control, HVAC vents for the rear seats, wireless charging for your smartphone, 7-inch TFT instrument-cluster display, leather seats with heating for the front row and power adjustment for the front passenger, autodimming rearview mirror and rear cross-traffic alert.
The $29,475 XSE adds 19-inch black machined-finish wheels, dual exhaust, plus an extra 3 horsepower and 2 pound-feet of torque from the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Jumping up to the $34,050 XLE V6 adds (as the name implies) the 3.5-liter V6 engine, nine-speaker JBL premium audio, a panoramic sunroof and a 10-inch head-up display.
Finally, I arrive at the $34,600 XSE V6. This top trim offers the same features as the XLE V6, but with the sportier appearance and suspension. Options for higher trims include embedded navigation, surround-view monitor and rear cross-traffic braking.
The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in the following submodels: Camry Sedan. Available styles include L 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A), SE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A), XSE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A), XLE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 8A), LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A), TRD 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 8A), SE Nightshade Edition 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A), XSE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 8A), and XLE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 8A). Toyota Camry models are available with a 2.5 L-liter gas engine, with output up to 206 hp, depending on engine type. The 2020 Toyota Camry comes with front wheel drive. Available transmissions include: 8-speed shiftable automatic.

I have a 2018 XSE but the mpg sticker says 29 city 39 hwy. 2020 is doing less mpg now? 27 city 38 hwy? And 15 8 fuel tank compared to 2018 at 16.0 fuel tank. Me personally I've gotten over 44.7 on the hwy. You need to reset your odometer and trip fuel economy button when fueling up then taking that drive. Average is from 28 to 34. We do 90% in the city driving. But when driving hwy, I do that reset and over 44 mpg.

The XSE (which means Extreme Sports Edition) is the preferred model, but get the V6 instead. You'll never be sorry.

I think this guy needs to avoid coffee. I just purchased this car. Out the door was $33K with the labor day sale. I can't find any thing wrong with this car. But, there is one problem with the car that for me is thoroughly BS. To get Nav in this car, you have to have a smart phone. Not just any phone. You have to create an account Google for android. You have to register your device with them and then except their spying policy of keeping track of you and using your personal data as they see fit. If that doesn't bother you then this Nav set up is just for you. So, it only works when the smart phone is in the car. It will not work other wise. Google is the second largest spy in this country and no one seems to care but me. I don't get it, unless I'm just a whiner. The car rides a little lower, the sport mode is quite impressive. I bought the red, no black roof, all blacked out emblems and black spoiler. The car is comfortable, sporty and quiet.

You're wrong about "To get Nav in this car, you have to have a smart phone". Dynamic Navigation is available from the manufacturer, included within the "Driver Assist Package w/Options". Therefore, most of your other statements would be true ONLY as they relate to telephone-based maps or navigation. Also, some people may also say that "I don't want to pay the extra for factory nav, just use your phone". Just remember you PAY BIG BUCKS every month to use the phone for any purpose. If you get factory Nav, you pay once and as long as you keep the car you save money every second/minute/day/month !

For 2020, the Birds-Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan is an element of the "Driver Assist Package w/Options", which also includes 10" color head up display, Intelligent Clearance Sonar w/ Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, Multi-Stage Ventilated Seating, Panoramic Glass Roof w/ Power Tilt/Slide Moonroof, Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation, JBL w/ Clari-Fi®, and 50 State Emissions. On the XLE and XSE 4 cylinder trim levels, the Driver Assist Package with Options is priced at $5,245. On the XLE V6 and XSE V6 trim levels, the Driver Assist Package with Options is priced at $2,790. I also expect the same package content and pricing to apply to model year 2021 vehicles. In my opinion, by offering this package Toyota has produced the best safety and convenience package I have ever seen in my 34 years of vehicle involvement. The Heads-Up display is the best on the market, and something I feel should be mandated as standard equipment on every vehicle sold. It's not just an option, but a very useful DRIVING TOOL providing a vast amount of information automatically displayed at eye level. The Birds-Eye system can assist a driver in parking, backing into traffic, and avoiding damage to the vehicle through contact with people, parking stops, etc. The seat Heating/Ventilation system is absolutely great when the vehicle is hot/cold and you don't want to begin a trip on a hot/cold seat surface. Also, when you use the AC, also use the seat cooling. When you use the heater, also use the seat heat. In both cases you'll be a lot more comfortable. And the large Panoramic Glass Roof is an all-season joy, allowing a natural outside view to every vehicle occupant without the hassle of a convertible and all the safety of a hard top. Premium Audio: Well, just listen to the Toyota system for a few days, then listen to any other system. You'll know the difference in 30 seconds or less. The JBL system has it hands down. And the Navigation system, well that could be the subject of a 3-page write-up. But just trust me, it's as good as anything on the market, but much better than most. And just imagine Navigation information being displayed on the Heads-Up display. It's something you have to see to appreciate. And I'm not even a salesman.

Hello John, the price of each model is in the description under the video. The XSE that I reviewed was $36,000. It had the upgraded safety features, upgraded camera displays, heads-up display as well as the pan roof.

My 2020 SE AWD base price was $30,538. I got some discounts as the dealer is looking to dump the 2020's and start bringing in the 2021's now. $2,000 off national rebate, dealer had $1,800 off as well. I got the cold weather package and sunroof. All told with tax, title and rebates around $30,000.

The hud is only offered on the xle and XSE. It’s optional with the 4 cylinder as part of the driver assist package, but the HUD becomes standard if you get the v6

justin94block You’ll have to check the dealership but I don’t think so. Manufactures always want you to buy the latest and greatest car to update to the latest and greatest things. Unlike Tesla, no other car manufacturer updates their software on their infotainment system or car. Tesla’s the only car manufacturer that does this.

Yes you can upgrade just like the 2018 models were able to upgrade to get Apple Car Play which was introduced in the 2019 model. You have to talk to the dealership.

Alex B all Camry models get led low and high beams with the low beams also functioning as the DRLs. The XSE and xle add separate led DRLS and led turn signals. Additionally all models get led taillights but xle and XSE get led turn signals and led backup lights

It appears almost all reviews on utube is strictly to sell the vehicle. The starter in the Camry is located INSIDE the engine. The oil filters are so difficult to change, it's better to let the dealership do it. Tell us the truth!
