Randy is a wonderful player with a unique style of his own.

A bit of Trivia: Many decades ago; when the ISGC was held at the Chase Hotel in west St Louis; a very young Randy Beavers was playing at that convention. And it so happened that he had a room right next to mine. Believe it or not, he practiced just about ALL night long; doing licks that were incredible. And I did not care that if it kept me awake. It was a thrill absolute. As the years have gone by, Randy just gets better and better. He and Tommy White and several others (like Mike Johnson and Gary Carpenter) are amongst the few today that are keeping "that" sound going, that Buddy Emmons and Jimmy Day created. May Jesus rest the souls of BE and JD. I am blessed to have seen a NEW sound turned many an ear beginning in '54 and for many a years gone by. Thank you Randy kind Sir. You are one of my favorites when it comes to the PSG. You are truly a "Cut above". May Jesus continue to bless you with "gifts" from Heaven; in the realm of music.

Great song Randy. Who would have thought? I’d like to hear your rendition of “Gangsta’s Paradise”. Give a listen to a guitar player named, Luca Stricanoli. He does an acoustic version of it without accompaniment like you do so well. If anyone could pull that off on steel guitar, it would be you.

Could you do a C6 demo for us, Randy? ty

Is that a new ZUM? Looks like the one I just sold!

I think this is the one you were selling. I have had this guitar for 3-4 months. I took it to Bruce and we added a 9th knee and went through everything. I also added another 705 on the C6th neck which is how I came across this guitar. Soon as I heard it I knew I would buy her. GREAT guitar and with all the little bugs worked out I couldn't be happier.
