I saw Hendrix 3 times! The first was right after he left the Monkees tour to become a headlining act. He played his ass off going through a 2 Marshalls and 2 Sunn amps with 15" speakers. Talk about getting your mind blow at 15. I'm here to tell you that Randy captures all the nuances and the raw energy of Jimi's playing and performances. Randy is the real deal and a treasure to behold!

Is this the page where people who know nothing about Hendrix come to to make comments? The track is "Little Wing" not "Little Wings" and Hendrix was "Jimi", not "Jimmy". I've seen Randy play in Germany a few times, and whether he was playing in a football stadium or on a small stage in a local pub he was absolutely brilliant.

I play a Hendrix medley 2or3x a week (Angel/Wind Cries/ Little Wing) in Em, E, and Em respectively. 😮 My go-to warmup for years. Fairly close to JH but Randy is still so much better! 💙
