There's never been a more physically gifted reciever. He was maybe the fastest, had great hands and could jump out the stadium. I saw him play and his speed was unreal. No one was even close as fast. I watched him catch a 80+ yard td. He beat double coverage, had to slow down a lot to catch the ball and he turned on the Jets again and dusted the safety and CB.

I think the old name was better but I guess some people might think it's only REALLY old material (which you do highlight) rather than stuff that is at least 5 years old and/or highlights players that only just recently retired. Love this video though, it's always neat to see one on one battles between the WR/CB. BTW keep this idea in the back of your mind but sometime soon after John Madden passes you HAVE to do a video highlighting the Big Uglies on the O-Line as he LOVED highlighting the battles on the line defending the QB and creating holes/lanes for RBs.

Horrible passes. Corner endzone fade straight to the DB. If Moss played with Montana & Young and got 20 seasons he adds 25% to Rices stats. He proved it with Brady. Even tho the Patriots and Brady werent built for passing they couldn't help but excel with Moss. Brady choked in the 07 SB and overthrew or underthrew Moss on nearly every deep ball he threw. If Moss couldve played with an accurate big arm QB on a team that actually used him theres no telling what he couldve done. Its bullshit that his career essentially ended after 6 years in Minnesota while he was still in his prime except for his stint in NE. How many elite DBs did Moss go up against where balls were over/ underthrown where people act like Moss got locked down. The one handed sideline leap proves Woodson couldn't hold Moss. It's like the game with Deion where the ball was underthrown and he broke it up. Better passes and nobodys stopping him, especially deep. He proved it over n over again

He could be playing right now if he wanted to. If you remember from his HOF speech, he retired because his family was out of whack and he couldn't be there like he needed to be playing football. Moss destroyed the career of the best CB in the league when people like you were saying he was finished in Oakland. The only difference between then and now is Moss doesn't have/ want the opportunity to prove you wrong. The one thing I will say is that Moss probably didn't have what it took to play 20 years or to be on dynasties like Rice did, but it has nothing to do with talent or ability or longevity, and more to do with his own attitude & reputation. Moss was a hard enough worker by all accounts, and barring any injuries (which is no gimme, especially as you get older), he had the talent & the physical ability to play 20 years and surpass all Rice's records. He'll never get the chance to do that for reasons both inside & outside his control, so Rice will go down as the all time stats GOAT. He's earned that, it belongs to him, no amount of "what ifs" will change that. At the end of the day tho, like I said before, that's not where I take my stand... where I take my stand is at Moss being the pound-for-pound better WR. And I think personally that just comparing their highlight reel proves that conclusively. But you're free to disagree. I would just have to ask you tho... seeing as how you don't like Moss and haven't for many years now... why do you keep coming to his videos?? Just to argue with people who think he's the greatest?? Just more proof that Moss fans don't live in reality. Highlight reels are completely subjective, it all comes down to what you like. For me a guy catching slants and taking them to the house 50 to 60 yds through the other team's defense is more impressive than catching 50 to 60 yard bombs over other receivers. But once again your mileage may vary on that.

And there's a difference between Moss not being targeted or poorly thrown balls and Moss being locked down. The back of the endzone pick by Woodson was a lockdown. That was a nice play.
