Rare moments. Usually, Wrestling Challenge only had jobber matches with stars and rebroadcast of better matches from Saturday Night Main Events, Superstars of Wrestling, or highlights from PPV events. I miss old school Saturday mornings broadcast TV.
@TONYGILLEY4 ай бұрын
Not entirely accurate. A lot of these TV tapings with Superstars and Wrestling Challenge were advertised as house shows with 7 or 8 match superstar line-up. You wouldn't know it was a taping until you saw the production lights set up and camera men walking about. You'd have roughly 20 jobber-squashes along with the advertised match-ups spread throughout the large card. I went to a house show in the fall of 1988 where it turned out to be both a Saturday Night's Main Event and Wrestling Challenge taping. The taping began around 7pm, with all 30 matches, we didn't get out of there until after 12am.
