Unbelievable. There are many ways to handle hardship in a mans life. Cheating is one way, drinking is another and distancing himself into a lonesome place are just some of the ways. I've heard Randy admit it wasn't a dark place for him at the time he wrote these lyrics. But some people like Randy are truly gifted with the knowledge of others stuggles.
