I've always thought Randy's voice sounded like a "train whistle in the distance" A haunting quality.

Great reaction. Randy Travis - what else needs to be said. He helped to get country muisc back to what it should be along with others - like George Strait , Clint Black - etc. I miss having new stuff by Randy since his stroke. Anything he had done before the stroke will always be a timeless classic.

The timbre of his rich baritone voice is unparalleled. My favorite Randy Travis songs are Reasons I Cheat; Promises; Take Another Swing At Me; This is Me; Look Heart, No Hands; Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man; That’s Where I Draw the Line; I Told You So; The Box; He Walked On Water; Three Wooden Crosses; More Life; Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart; It’s Just a Matter of Time; On the Other Hand; and Forever and Ever Amen.

One of my favorite, Randy Travis songs, there's only one Randy Travis so sad that he can't sing anymore.

I was a huge randy fan since 1987. Great singer. Check “Matter of time” by him. A cover of the R&B Brooke Benton song

A great Randy song is called That's Where I Draw The line I will never know why this song was never released as a single it would have been a hit .

It was written by Trey Bruce who also wrote the Randy Travis songs "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man" (which I believe you've have already reacted to) and "Look Heart, No Hands". He is also the son of Country Star Ed Bruce who wrote "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys".
