Got my second DIY bull in three years last month and can appreciate how much work it is to pack the quarters out! My first bull was on the Koyukuk and my wife asked if I needed a new gun. I told her I needed a new jet boat and took her and my son 530 miles down the Yukon and up the Koyukuk to get my first moose. Another 530 miles to get back out and what an adventure! This year my moose was in the Delta Junction area and thankfully I had two of my sons there to help me pack the bull back to camp. Awesome hunt Kara, I've never seen anyone eject a shell and get ready for a follow shot as fast as you did!

What an awesome hunt, I really enjoyed following along. Kara is an aggressive beast, after her shot she worked that bolt in a millasecond and was running immediately toward the bull for a follow up shot. she was prob 10 feet away from the shot location before the empty casing hit the ground. I loved it, you go girl. What a great hunt, I really enjoyed it, thank you so much for taking us along. Jay from central Pa.

Next time, start calling from that Ridge while you're glassing.Get a nice moose horn or an old milk jug with the bottom cut out; it makes for a great call! Also, rake on a bush with a stick or said milk jug. You might have been able to turn those bulls right towards ya!

What an exiting adventure. In Norway our moose are half size and antlers likewise. I have shot 2 female moose, so i know the feeling of the hunt. Always dreamed of some antlers that size, but it is too expensive. Glad guys like you do videos of your hunts. Also would like to see bears, no need for hunting them.
